simple game, hoping youd review mine!

Enjoyed this! controls could use some tweaking but works well enough.

its awesome. Plz hit a review of my game, too :)

Cool idea with the chasing shadow, implementing the prerequisite. But in a platformer, the controls need to be very good! It's super frustrating if I can't jump in front of a wall and get eaten by my shadow lol But: Thank you soooo much for the respawn points! That's a mechanic too often overlooked for these jam games. With so many games to play, I don't have time to start from scratch in a huge level every time I die. So, well done!

Thanks for the review, I'm working on the controls. I made the jump more responsive and will post an update, but I still haven't figured out the sticking to walls issue.

Nicely done! It's was fun to try to reach the end, the puzzle elements are well done. I found the platforming a bit difficult with the controls, but it added to the challenge in a good way.

Normal game. Cool graphics. However, add a walking animation to the enemy, because it looks like some kind of demon flying above the ground 😅 And make the game easier because, in my opinion, it’s complicated.

Pretty nice game overall! Movement felt a little awkward at points but the level design was pretty good and the chase mechanic was done well!

Thanks for your comment! I'm working on the movement. I think the jump is the most problematic.

Cool idea! Reminds me of the one level in Celeste (in a good way). I thought the jump was maybe a bit floaty, but I think your implementation of the chase mechanic was perfect. Nice work, especially for only 48 hours!

Developer

Thanks for your comment! Do you think making the jump faster would make it seem more realistic?

I should be a bit clearer. Some of the platforms feel like they should be able to be jumped on but you don't jump high enough to reach them. It was hard to get a feel for the jump. It's not so much about realism so much as clarity for the player about the character's jump height.
