Use of the limitation
You win when there are no matching blocks next to each other (i.e. absense of order). I tried to make the asthetics chaotic a well.

for some reason it says that I can play it or it crash or something but the game looks good!

Just crashes out for me when I open it :(

Thanks, that’s really good to know! Which OS and what GPU? (I might have went overboard with GPU compute stuff)

Windows and a 3080, I'll try download it again and see what happens.

Ok I unplugged my xbox controller and it opened, it seemed to hang when mentioning a controller in the console.

Ok now its working I really liked this, the particles and bong sound made for a cool vibe. And the puzzles were pretty interesting, a different take on the block moving game with good results.

Developer

Glad you got it working in the end, and thanks for the kind words :)

I tried reproducing the bug here, but it worked with my ps3 controller (which pretends to be a xbox 360 controller), also on Windows.

If you remember/are able to get that error again, I can make a bug report for the engine (Bevy).

Intruiging concept, and I really like it as a way to incorporate the limitation. The last puzzle in particular was challenging, a felt really rewarding to solve.

I found the combination of the moving background, the ambient noise and the 'bong' noise when you beat a stage to be deeply relaxing, which I always appreciate in puzzle games like this.

Would love to see some more stages, and although the undo button is great I'd love to have the option to fully reset a stage to avoid repeated tapping when I knew I messed up a while back.

Great concept, I was unable to restart after messing up a puzzle though. The background lines were interesting to look at - but overall kind of made it difficult to look at the screen! Either way good work!

Thanks, the game has an undo key (U/Backspace), but the instructions are kind of obscured by the effect, so quite a few people seemed to have missed it, which gets back to your second point ;)
