Such an interesting concept, unique from what I've seen so far. Presentation is incredible! The game is oddly relaxing and challenging at the same time. Great work!

Brilliant! Our group was deciding between a turtle game and a lighthouse game. We were like, "yeah, but if we do a save the turtles game, how will we control all the turtles at once?" WELL YOU FIGURED OUT THE ANSWER. And you made it damn fun. And the art was splended. I appreciate that you put in the time to give the player a lot of access to visual information about the game, it made this a real strategy game.

The difficulty also ramps up with great pacing and I felt able to teach myself how to play and sit at the right level of challenging. Really splendid work :)

Ahhhh, another turtle saving game. Nicely done, I’m a fan. :)

We wanted to do levels with ours. It may be something we add later, but I think it’s cool that you two were able to create them and still maintain such a polished look and feel. Great job.

Graphics are cute. Game is well made and your attention to detail is impressive. The sounds you chose are brilliant! Good luck

The game is pretty well-made. For me it's a bit hard to handle several turtles at one time. Good luck!

I got three stars! I made it. I saved the turtles. It certainly is a cool concept and very nature-loving. The art style was not it for me though. Good job otherwise.

I really like the RTS genre of games. So being able to micro turtles around was really fun. Being able to click and drag to box select the turtles would have been nice. But for a short game jam like this, one cannot expect everything.

Fun concept. Awesome art. The mechanics felt good and fair. The level design felt nice and diverse. Although I found myself typically trying to funnel every single turtle through the shortest route. Keep up the good work!

The turtle assets are amazing <3

This was great fun! Love the artstyle and the music. It is quite challenging to keep all of them alive, which is good! Good difficulty curve IMO. Only thing I'd change is the way you display life. Didn't realize what the numbers meant until the fourth level with the shells. Maybe a green bar that grows shorter?

Nice work! The turtle is great and hard to control just like real life turtle. Enemies are very challenging and keep getting tougher along each level. It can be confusing to control the turtle as sometimes, it goes where you click but you forgot where it would stop commonly leading me to getting the turtle killed with the crab because I thought it already went into the sea but instead on the shore where the crab just hit it. It would be great to have indicator where turtle would stop. However, this is one of the most complete game you can ask for in game jam! Awesome work!

This was a lot of fun, and the artwork is really nice to look at. The music fits well. My only improvement would be to have the turtle continue in the direction you click, instead of stopping where you clicked. I clicked at the edge of the water and thought the turtles would continue into it, but they stopped right at the edge and ran out of time. Well done overall!

Developer

thanks for your feedback.

Having the turtle continue moving was an option, but would also cause issues at some levels as you would need the turtle to stop. To wait for the crab, etc to move out of the way.

I really liked this game. The simple art and music suited the gameplay very well. I admit I am a little biased because I love turtles!
