The concept for this game is amazing, however I feel like it could use some work with better level design and more fluid pacing. Being teleported to random rooms every 5 seconds isn't very good for pacing, and the power up movement is pretty good but could be a lot better if there was an indicator for which direction you can dash in.
Thank you so much for playing! Whenever you have any power up particles appear on your character, and you can go left or right with the sideways dash. Is that what you meant? Also yeah, I really would have loved to lerp the camera between rooms but I didn’t wanna mess with procedural generation lol!
Thank you so much for playing, and for the feedback too! I’ll make sure to try your game when I get the chance!
Although I do find the artstyle and gameplay amusing, where's the "Health is A Tool" part of this game?
Honestly when I came up for the idea of the game I got the limitation and theme mixed up, so that’s why the game doesn’t feature a more straightforward implementation of the limitation, but I still do think that it follows it. There isn’t a real defined health meter or any system like that but I still think the idea of having velocity act as health, and having to change it by using power ups to make it through follows the theme. I understand if other people don’t see that way though, I’m a bit biased after all! Thank you so much for playing!
