Nice art! I think the sprites are really well done. Unfortunately, I couldn't figure out how to play. A simple text based tutorial would really help your player to understand the games mechanics. Also, There was no way to quit! Good Start!

Developer

I probably should've included a tutorial in-game because the tutorial description is not enough. Thanks for the feedback!

This is a good submission, especially it terms of ambience and music, the only thing that is missing is a tutorial in-game to clarify how to play/win/lose.

Good job, pass by and rate my game if you get the time.

Developer

Thanks! I'll add a tutorial panel after the game jam and update the game!

Very interesting, playability is very funny and in the end you fail, awesome! The one thing I miss is a panel or something explaining how the game works but apart from that very good game!

Developer

Thanks! :D I'll make a tutorial panel after the game jam because I didn't have time to do it during the game jam (Because I was on vacation during the game jam).

Pretty cool game, surprisingly the only TD game I've seen in this jam

The arrows being able to collide with anything is a little annoying, but I guess its a pretty good way to prevent cheesing

EDIT: forgot some feedback, oops

Developer(+1)

Thank you! What colliders do you want me to remove? I guess I could remove the player ability to collide with the arrows.

I personally think the player and the torches, the towers colliding with each other makes sense I feel. Though thats just my opinion

Developer

Sure!

Excellent work! I had a lot of fun with this one.  Pulling the camera back would help the player get a sense of best strategies for tower placement as the rounds progress. Ability to upgrade towers to increase fire rate would be a cool feature

Developer

Thanks! I might do upgrading after the jam though...

The first tower defence game I have seen so far! Good work!

Developer

Thanks! I was aiming for more of a unique game in terms of playstyle!

Good game, but as others said the difficulty need fixing and aswell the camera should be more zoomed out in my opinion. It would be more satisfying to see more of your base.

Developer

Thank you! I can create more of the dungeon but I'm gonna do it after the game jam because I'm still on vacation.

Really cool and lots of good ideas and nice pixel art (tho no animation) but the game needs a fix with its difficulty. The game starts out pretty average difficulty, and then becomes insanely easy as the amount of towers you have just insta-kills anything that spawns. eventually, the game suddenly bursts with tons of enemies making the game incredibly difficult and quite laggy. making enemies able to destroy towers instead of just spawning more enemies would be a good way to fix the difficulty curve here. Nice concept tho

Developer

Thanks! I'm working on revamping the difficulty system for more fun play! :D

There is a lot of potential with this game. I really enjoyed the passive tower defense aspect of the game. Also, being able to body-block the enemies with the player was an interesting choice.

I think animations would have added a lot to the game. The player and enemies were very static. Using a static sprite is ok but you could animated it wobbling or squashing and stretching to add a little bit more visually.

Solid entry!

Developer

Thanks :D! I'll try and add animations after the jam. Sadly, I did not have enough time during the jam to make animations because I was away for vacation :(.

The gameplay is fun and killing lots of knights is very satisfying and I like that you can push the knights away with the player but I don't really like that eventually there just becomes too many knights to defend against, I get that it fits with the limitation but I think it would have been nicer if it was a more gradual rise in difficulty maybe with a high score which would still fit with the limitation because you would die eventually. Great game :D

Developer(+1)

Thanks :D! I'll make an update that makes the game have a more gradual difficulty curve and with one extra tower!
