Use of the limitation
I made it necessary for the player to lose a few times prior to finding the exit, they have to sacrifice their energy in the first few runs in order to place beacons, until ultimately they can use those beacons to reach the exit.
Cookies eaten
a few of those hahaha, and a whole lot of crisps

very cute game. I was able to make it through without dieing or needing a beacon as well so my only suggestion would be to make it a bit more difficult. But overall very nice job!!!
Its a cool little game, but the sprite is a little blurry and you can make it to the end without losing all energy or needing a beacon
I like the idea but I was able to get to the end of the maze without dying or placing a single beacon (medium difficulty)
Very good game idea, and well executed. The only thing I would suggest is the textures put the filter on point (no filter) Congrats!
Pros: interesting idea | cute art style | nice music
Cons: levels of difficulty differ only in the number of beacons andfor me it doesn't make the game easier because personally I used only red beckons and passed on the second attempt (I played on hard mode)
Thanks a million for taking the time to try and give feedback, on easy and medium you play a smaller section of the puzzle and not all of the maze like the hard mode, generally speaking, procedurally generated mazes are a better fit but with the time limitation I decided to go with a hard-coded level split into three sections.
Oh, ok, sorry for my mistake
No need to apologize, on the contrary thanks for giving feedback, I went to try your game but it's almost a 500Mb download :((( , will try it later on a better connection.
Best of luck bro
Thank you! Good luck to you too)
This is a very creative idea. The controls felt very smooth as well. Nice job
Good job! i pass the easy and medium but in hard one, I gave up, Congrats!
I like labyrinths so I enjoyed this game, couldn't beat the hardest difficulty though. Concept is really nice and presentation is quite good, good choice of music and great atmospehre!
This is a great idea - loved the concept and thought it was executed really well. Played on medium and managed to complete on my second attempt, but only barely made it to the exit and was very grateful for the beacons I'd placed on my first run.
Nice game! I really like the maze idea, and your use of limitation and theme was on point. Great work!
Don't know how but I was able to complete all the stages without losing a single life. Every path I choose turns out to be the correct one. Good game had fun playing it.
This was a really cool little concept, the energy mechanic really adds a sense of urgency to exploring the maze. Everything ties together really well, I played the whole thing on medium and it felt like the perfect difficulty.
this game was really fun, on my first attempt I completed the easy difficulty and was a bit confused but after giving it another chance I really enjoyed it and love the art style, especially the music.
Nice idea of having energy for movement. Managed to beat on medium at first try. But there is some movement delay and that costed me abit of energy. Everything else works fine.
Nice game, very nice sprites and music. The only problem is that the sprites were a bit blurry. For the rest, nice game.
I like mazes and therefore your game. The music and atmosphere are good, but all sprites are blury. Which is sad cause they fit your game very well.
Overall good job.
Thanks a million for trying the game, yes indeed the sprite choice was not the best, and I zoomed in the camera a bit too much in the submitted version, I appreciate your feedback a lot.
I will test and rate your game in a bit ;)
Fun game with cool art and music. Good job!
Thanks a million for the feedback and so happy you liked it.
I will test and rate your game in a minute, much appreciated.
I somehow found the exit on my first try on medium without placing down any beacons either and therefore tried another run, although I think that the maze is the same. Overall, I like the music and the environment, although the player is overly blurry on my screen and I'm not sure why. Good luck with your submission and if you have time, please check out my game :D. -Sincerely Henry_Hamster
Thanks a lot for trying it out, the maze is hard-coded yes, but with successive areas, so on easy you have to go through area 1, on medium you have to finish area 1 & area 2 which is bigger, and on Hard you have to finish area 1, area 2, and area 3 which is the biggest, I initially designed the hard maze, but thought to split it into three difficulties.
as for the sprites you are absolutely right, I had zoomed in the camera a tad too much prior to submission and did not think about it.
Again, I highly appreciate you rating my game, I will head over and rate yours for sure in a minute.
Lots of fun, great music, graphics and atmosphere. I was able to beat it on the first try on Easy mode.
Thanks a million for trying it, yes both easy and medium difficulties are pretty easy, the Hard one is the best for a good challenge.
I appreciate your time and rating my game, I will be sure to check and rate yours.
