I really like the art and you put a lot of effort into the story and characters, but I feel like the hitboxes are a little too big. Generally, you want your player’s hitbox to be small and your enemies hurt box to be big. So, it’s harder for the player to get hit but easier for them to hit an enemy. I also would’ve liked to see a change in between levels. maybe your shadow jumps now, etc. This is pretty fun, good job!

Thank you for your feedback!

The hitboxes felt a bit off. Especially when jump attacking I felt like I hit Shadow but still lost. I still made it to the final level just to see all the transformations, but I didn't have enough patience for the spikes at the end.

I understand. If I update the game I'll take your criticism into consideration

Cute little platformer with nice controls!

Thank You!

I liked the shifting physics of the different levels (specifically the ocean and galaxy ones), making the same battle feel a bit different each time. The writing was also pretty good.

I would have liked some better hitboxes on both the shadow and the player; a bunch of times it felt like I got hit without actually hitting anything. Also, if I didn't have to go through the text every time I restarted, that would have been a smoother experience.

Overall, a decent game, though it could have used some more mechanics to add some variety in terms of strategy; my method for each battle was basically the same every time. If the shadow moved in different patterns with each level, that might have been nice?

Thank you for your feedback. If I do update the game (which I do plan to do)  I will take all feedback into consideration.

Great game. It was fun to play, I only given up last level, because the middle arrow shotted immediately so I 2 times had to repeat last level. Only thing, that for skipping text would be better to use spacebar.

Yeah.. sorry for the difficulty, but it is what it is. I'll keep your feedback in mind.

Loved the idea! the only thing I didn't like was space for shooting and W for jumping.

I pressed space a couple of times to dodge instead of W maybe a way to change controls?

Nonetheless great job!

I'll try to keep your feedback in mind in the future, as I intend to update the game.

Had a blast playing the game and I loved the execution upon the limitation. Fighting your own shadow is a cool concept and I loved it!

Developer

Thank you for enjoying the game so much! I was worried that people wouldn't really enjoy the game so it is nice to see such positive feedback!

Morb... morbin'time...morbius movie by MARVEL studios reference in good game

Developer(+1)

I was honestly worried that people would find the reference cringy, so I'm glad you liked it (if I'm reading your comment correctly)

Yes, you read it correct! Such a good reference! :)

I really like the humor  you did in the game its funny. I think its better the text its not click but its a keyboard bind it will be good  (sorry for my bad english).

Developer(+1)

Thank you for your feedback! No need to apologize for your "bad" english, I understood what you said and that's what matters.  I'll try to keep your feedback in mind :)

Nice game. I really liked the transition between characters and the story was funny. Maybe a button to skip the text when you play again the same level would be useful

Thank you for you feedback!

I saw this awhile ago and didnt think to play it, found it again and heres what i have to say

Very simple and cute art! It has a nice charm to it & the retro vibe is nice, Could be nice to have  a retro font but ill get into that in a second

The writing: Oh my god, The writing is so incredibly funny, Multiple times i was laughing out loud at just how well this was written, The comedic factor is INCREDIBLE, Plus it goes so well with the font too to create this beautiful work of art.

The overall vibe and charm of this game is amazing, Please make more games with this level of writing its so fucking funny oh my god

<3 11/10 falling out of my chair laughing

Thank you for your feedback! The game was originally going to be more "dramatic" in the dialogue department before I almost ran out of time. I actually don't know how to change font in Unity so I'll try to keep that in mind. I was worried that the "IT'S MORBIN TIME" joke would be seen as a bit cringe so I'm glad you liked it. Feedback of your game forthcoming.

The morbin joke was hilarious lol, Font changing is a bit odd, if you are using default text you can download a font online, pop it into unity and drag it into the text font field on the text object, If you are using Text mesh pro, it comes with a few optional other fonts but you can convert a normal font file to a TMP one! (give it a google on how to)
