Nice game.
Thanks for playing!
cool gamee !!!
Thanks for playing!
Graphics look really nice, some of them I feel like I might recognize, not sure if you’re using pre-made assets. If not, then bang up job on the pixel art. The idea doesn’t really fit the limitation imo but it’s still a fine idea for a game. I enjoyed my time playing but nothing stood out to me as particularly strong or unique design-wise. I’d recommend placing your sound effect triggers inside of your logic checks for performing actions - presently, every time space is pressed, an effect is sounded whether the action was performed or not. I think telegraphing enemy attacks better could be helpful as well. Overall, a decent effort that is quite competent. Nice work, keep it up!
Thank you very much for your feedback
Yes, in order to make up for my weakness, I have used pre-made assets, mainly the scene's tilesets and scene objects([Pixel Art Top Down - Basic]https://cainos.itch.io/pixel-art-top-down-basic), other characters and skills are made by my good 2d art friend (cute slime).
Thank you very much for your suggestion, I will absorb it and add it to the game in the future.
My first thought: Wow, this is some nice, clean art. And your game keeps this impression till the end. The timing, and bouncing, dash and movement fell all just right. This all feels like Moonlighter, a game that I also really like to play.
Our games are kind of similar. Here your slimy hero is colorless and tries to get his color back. In our game, the fireflies lost thier color due to an infestation, you can help them to get it back. Would like to hear your oppionion on that.
Really glad you liked it! thanks for the comment : )
I've also played Moonlighter, it's a really great game, and it's really happy to hear that my game capture some of its essence.
I will try your game.
A short game, but very enjoyable, and what we get to experience is super high quality! The art and the color scheme is so nice and relaxing~ I also loved the little slime art and their animations (but can we ever go wrong with slimes??!), and it was so nice to see all of the different elemental slimes' attacks~ The sound effects and the music fit so well, too! This game definitely made me slime, uh, I mean, smile! ^^
Thank you so much, really glad you enjoyed it.
Your smile is my greatest reward⸜(* ॑꒳ ॑* )⸝
Cool game! took me a minute to get it figured out but super fun and a great submission
Really glad you liked it! thanks for the comment : )
A fun little boss battler. I liked the varied abilities of the different slimes, and the phases of the bosses.
As some below mentioned, the poison one's range seemed to be a bit further than it looked; got caught out a few times in that one. And on that note: I was missing a lot of feedback in this; e.g. when I get hit, I sometimes don't realise it, and when I hit an enemy, there's very little indication that I did. The poison boss being pushed back is the only one (I think?) where there was a good indicator of that.
The weakest slime is actually pretty strong. They didn't even need to absorb the others, really. I eventually used the fire one to beat the lasers one because it gives me passive damage while I focus on dodging, but otherwise the original slime's dash attack seemed best!
Anyway, a cool game!
Thank you, Really glad you liked it! ⸜(* ॑꒳ ॑* )⸝
The suggestion of increasing combat feedback is very useful.
I will enhance this part.
this was rly fun, i liked that you put a lot of time into just 3 enemies instead of making a bunch of smaller, less complicated and meaningful enemies. on the green slime boss i kept dying out of nowhere when it seemed like i was safe - maybe you should look at those hitboxes. good game overall though!
Thank you, I really appreciate that feedback! ⸜(* ॑꒳ ॑* )⸝
The red slime skill will make hitbox became bigger, I will fix it later.
Very nice art and mechanics.
Thanks for playing!
the slime fight is amazing bru! :)
