Wow, that ending blew me away!!! This is about Narcissus, isn't it? :) I loved that little Greek Mythology reference! And the story pacing was amazing. The only things I'd recommend would be to add a simple instruction for the controls, and maybe add all the fish underwater for the visuals.

I ate an entire regular sleeve of Oreos... I think that's like 45 Oreos.

Thanks for playing! And yes, based loosely around Narcissus.
Yeah, I didn't think to add an instruction to explain the controls until really late and I ended up being pressed for time so I scrapped any idea for a better solution. I also agree with the visuals in the water! I thought about adding some hanging underwater flora just to add a bit more life and some points of reference, but I ended up not liking my initial ideas.
Thanks for the feedback and I appreciate the kind words!
The game is very cool !! I love how you manage the ambiance between funny and anxious, the sound design is amazing and help a lot for this. The end is everything I love in this kind of game also thank you to not put a jumpscare. The pixel art is cute and contrast very well with the mid/end game.
Thoroughly enjoyed playing it, the atmosphere and the mystery of what you might discover under sea was really tense. And the ending was terrifying, love it!
I thought this was gonna be a comedic type game but that ending actually gave me chills lol, thanks for not doing a jump scare. Very artistic take on the jam I love it.
This was incredible, I love the simple idea balanced with the amazing sound design and awesome art!
The sound design is really well balanced. I like that you used some nice calm ambient sound effect instead of music. The gameplay is simple but well executed and kept me entertained throughout. Having the time of the day change every time I fished something up is a real cool feature, not to mention that the ending is really cool too.
One issue I want to point out is that it becomes difficult to know if the bait is moving when there is nothing else in the screen. I would suggest having a steeper colour gradient from the top to the bottom of the sea so that the it is more obvious when the depth changes.
Great work!
Thank you so much!
Yeah, the gradient was a concern for me too. I tried to make it just subtle enough to tell where the lure is, but in retrospect, not everyone has the same display/color configuration as me, so it could be more difficult for people to see its relative position.
I appreciate the play and the feedback!
So damn cool. You worked smart, and made an immersive experience with very little. The sound design and art blew me away here. It's... perfection. Thank you for making it.

I am absolutely blown away by this game! I have so many thoughts so I'll try my best to lay them out somewhat orderly^^'
First off, the idea of the deep ocean scares the living crap out of me and this game absolutely bit into that fear. The atmosphere and the ambiance just felt a little too real. Love it!
The graphics are amazing and the screenshots don't do it justice! The animations were phenomenal and the ending caught me off guard real bad :,D
This game has honestly really inspired me and I can totally see this turn into some kind of story-based horror adventure game!
Once again, brilliant execution for a simple gameplay concept. Loved loved loved it!<3
