Very cute! I'm impressed by what you were able to achieve all on your own.
Sadly, I made it about halfway through the game before realizing I had successfully synced with some memories! I thought the pause menu was coming up because I had mistimed something, and it always opened at Note 1, which I didn't have yet, so I thought I was missing something.
But in the end I was able to read the story and I really like what you were going for. I just wish I was able to experience it at a better pace the first time through

I really like the graphic, nothing to say, just add a mini pop up or something that let you know when you unlock a note.
Visuals and music is great. I really like the change in music as you travel through time.
It would have been nice to have some kind of indicator if you completed a note.

I really liked the aesthethic (both graphic and sound). And actually, i don't have a lot to say, because it's good at what it does. If I could make a suggestion, I'd love to move and sync myself with remnants from the past/glimpses from the future to explore a bit those echos. Actually that would make more notes to write but as a counterpart, you would be able to have them suggest instead of writing the emotion of the character.
On the technical part, it's already been precised but feedback is important for when you manage to get a note (maybe just pause the game, small animation and show the text). Finally, at least for the mouse control, if you press both input (left and right), you manage to get in the "time-travel" state without pushing any button.
Graphics of this game are really good. Also change of music as you travel in time is a neat mechanic.
Story in notes is also nice. It's only lack some sound effect when sync was completed.
But in overall really nice game. Good job!
This game just looks incredible. A detailed main character with 2 sprites and multiple other images of their past and future self. The background was also surprisingly detailed for how many were present. Somehow the art wasn't my favorite part of game as I have to complement the music. Adaptive music was definably something I wasn't expecting in this game jam. Having instruments subtly get removed and introduced was a feature that excited me when I found out. Plus the music quiets as the pause menu is opened. While the gameplay is a bit confusing and lacking, the overall look and sounds really helps. Well done.
Nice little gem of a game. I wish you show a more obvious indicator that you've successfully synced with your past/future. Since the game revolve around reading notes from the character's past, I think showing the unlocked note when you've successfully synced would help a lot in allowing the player understand that they did something right. But other than that, I really adore the visual and the music of the game.
Hey there! Really cool concept, but unfortunately i don't really understand how to sync! Everytime i press W, the pause menu comes up! :( The graphics look erally nice though! But i think the music is a little bit too aggressive. Anyways, it would be nice if you could explain to me how to sync!

Hello, the pause menu is supposed to come up regardless. In order to sync, you'll want to pause around when a version of the player character appears to overlap fully with the player character, and if done correctly, a new note appears in the pause menu and the version of the player character will vanish after you unpause time. Any images that don't pop up over the player character directly are considered hints and cannot be synced with. Thanks for the feedback!
