The combat is great and it's really fun to maneuver around. Only problem is that there's no goal in the game

Combat system in this game is fun and epic.
Also i like art style of this game.
Good job!
I really like the visuals and how fluid the pocket watches move. It's like they're fish or snakes, and the player character was satisfying to control. The enemies feel a bit passive, though, since you can attack one and it'll brush up against you, sometimes knocking itself away from you and returning to a passive state, or hitting you until they somehow cause their own explosion. It's also funny how you can basically sneak attack them by getting real close but not immediately hitting them with the knife hand, then rotating the knife to hit them. It makes me think- is the player character the weird one for moving around so much? It's also interesting how the combat is tied to player movement, and I like how the watches freeze after an attack like it's a sword fight. It's very stylish, and it'd be cool to see it expanded on. Good luck developing!
A great game, really enjoyable! The movement was a little bit tough to manage at first but once I figured it out, it was really satisfying!
This is pretty polished in visual terms, so huge props on that for 1 person, but I'm not really sure what the objective is and the movement is too wacky for combat.
i found it pretty easy to control and satisfying in combat but I had tons of practice developing it -the weird controls seemed to be a common issue for players so I made it more normal to control. And yeah there wasn't much of an objective other than beating the clocks and getting treasure -i ran out of time on this jam. Anyway thank you! :)
Very nice-looking game and an interesting idea. The movement felt a bit off, might need to tweak the way a+d works a bit. it feels like I wasnt rotating very much and that i was going forward by quite a lot, I wouldnt have expected to really go forwards much if at all when turning. Itd also be nice if you didnt have to run over ever coin to pick them up, a radius around you where they get sucked in would make collecting them feel much more satisfying
Was trying to make the gameplay feel unique for the 3 button limitation -i thought it was fun but seemed to be too much for many so made it more normal and easier to control. Also there is a magnet that you can pick up that does attract the coins but unfortunately i didn't notice til reading this that it doesn't work due to my sloppy last minute coding lol -anyway planning to update this game a lot after the jam -thank you!
I really liked the concept of the game, but I think you could make adjustments to the movement, for several times I couldn't do simple actions like going forward.
Hey there! We really enjoyed your game! But i think some soundeffects would add a lot, and the combat can be improved. Also, i would make an in-game tutorial and i don't understand a part of the game: Can you somehow collect the stuff that an enemy leaves? Because i couldn't. Anyways, i hope you develop this further, just reply to this comment again when you have! :D
I hope the feedback helped you a bit, and it would be nice if you could check out our submission too, thank you! :)
Pretty cool game! Some sound effects would have been nice for the attacks and maybe a tutorial. But other than that it was pretty fun!
