Some of the Jumps are slightly baffling however It's a cool game to play. The style and the character Are cute to.
As soon as I saw the first mid air shotgun refresh I was hoping for chains of them and I was not disappointed. Small thing that would add to the user feel would be to have some indicator that you've still got an extra jump left. Yeah, you should know that as you just grabbed it, but having something appear on your screen when you collect something and disappear when you use it has a certain appeal.
Cool graphics, fun game - could see this becoming a very Super Meat Boy-ish game.

I'm addicted to this. I loved how you have to use some reloads twice in a different way, pretty clever design.

Don't worry, the co-dev couldn't finish the game either haha. There's a few jumps that you need to be precision point on but I made it too unforgiving, I'll have to tweak em
Generally, I loved the idea of shotgun-doodle jump. It felt deep in my heart
If you want to improve your game in future, read about tricks used in platformers.
They will sharply improve your understanding of what to add in this game

We’re glad to hear that Shotty Jump hit you deep emotionally, it hit deep somewhere else for us o.o
We’re still novices to 2D platformers and we will definitely update the game after the jam with some other stuff you generally see with platformers.
Introduction of the floating shells was done greatly. Ghosts are pretty scarce as enemies and move super quick, it may be fun to experiment with an inverse (using more ghosts that are slow moving).

I agree that the ghosts move too fast - I’ll definitely have to tweak them, and I think your idea will be the best way to implement them.
