Cool concept with the jumping between worlds, and the pixel art designs were nice!

I think this would benefit with some indicator of what is present in the other world in a given screen, otherwise it feels like some points boil down to guess & checking. For example, in level 1 I didn't see the enemies going down into the pit since I was in ghost mode coming into the section so I didn't have the bullets to do the jump immediately after, resulting in a death that wasn't due to lack of skill but rather a lack of information.
Really love the concept of the switching worlds and having the shotgun be exclusive to one of them and you made excellent use of this through the level design. All around, great work
I love platform games, you make a good tutorial and the game have nice graphics. Good job!
Nice tutorials, it's easy to understand all the mechanics and start playing the game without trying to remember what to do and for what reason.
Art well done. However I think the character is more developped than the env what could've given a kick from that perspective.
The level design is interesting and give you a good balance vs surprise and the will to take some risks.
Nice game, you can be proud :)
Really cool platformer with the demon/ghost worlds.
There was no sound when I played, I think that would add a lot of juice to the world skipping and shooting!
Visually, the platforms were rather simple, but the characters were amazing. I liked the death animations, from the main character to the monster.
I liked the tutorial at the beginning, it was very clear and explained the situations the player would encounter in an excelent manner, good job! Getting bullets from dead enemies is a concept I enjoyed a lot.
I feel the physics in jumping from shooting could be a little more forgiving, as in, it felt hard to actually nail the movement 'cause sometimes it just killed momentum even if I was shooting straight down.
A solid experience, congratulations!
I liked the concept of jumping between two worlds, it's fun, but since the levels are long, a save point would help a lot.
great job
This is really well made. Not much else to say, great job :D
Pretty nice puzzle game I'd say. I love the visuals and the mechanics are fun and relatively intuitive, though at first I wasn't sure how to kill the demons without any bullets.
as an improvement I'd appreciate a checkpoint system (maybe there is one in later levels, but I couldn't win level 1 and gave up after the lava drop... that was cheap man...)
Also is there supposed to be sound? I don't hear any sound or music on Firefox/Linux :c
Other than that, I really liked this. Kinda super meat-boy-like, I can imagine playing this from time to time if it was finished :)
PS: The gore/gibs explosion was a nice effect!
Thanks for trying the game and for the constructive comment!
The lack of checkpoint was intentional, the idea was to create a difficult and punishing game, where levels have to be gained attempt after attempt. But I understand it can get a lil frustrating :)
You are right, the kill system was explained briefly in the tutorial, but the instructions were a lot so I guess it's easy to miss it.
Unluckily we run out of time for the sound, for sure it would have added more.
This was confusing, I feel like the telefrag mechanic should have been explained, because I had to read other reviews to learn it. The art also contrasts quite a bit. Other than those, good job!
This game is great, really enjoyed all the mechanics! I could get through level 0 though .-.
Best game I've played so far in this jam, great concept. The movement speed could be a bit higher.
Pretty cool game, I'd love to see this fleshed out as a full game. I'd say crank up the move speed a tiny bit though, the player's current move speed feels a bit sluggish.
Very radical, would play through an entire game. A bit of sound would go a long way.
