Very spooky! The atmosphere and analog horror aspects of the game are very well done! However, I did personally struggle with the first part for a few minutes, because I didn't realize that above the fridge was actually a window that can be closed when I thought it was the upper section of the fridge. That is just a minor detail, but other than that, everything else is awesome!
Thanks, Raku!
Any time, Stain!
This game scared the shit out of me. It might not be that involved gameplay wise, but it builds tension amazingly through the broadcast and atmosphere of the house. I was constantly on edge, fearing what creatures might sneak in. My only complaint is the ending (Spoilers:). Seeing the (not so creepy) ghost flying towards me for multiple seconds before the jumpscare completely shattered the tension I had. But everything besides the jumpscare is amazing.
Hey!
Thank you so much!
Yeah, the ending could've been better, but I really appreciate you enjoying the build up. I wrote the script at like, 2 AM when the jam began, so I didn't know how it was gonna turn out.
Cool Concept!
Loved it! I wish it was longer, nice use of analogue horror aestetics
Yeh I like it a lot.
A neat concept but I was thinking I was going to have to try to keep the doors closed while shooting anything that got in and occasionally eating food or something. It ended pretty abruptly.
Atmosphere is off the charts. Would love to see more gameplay in this vein.
Thanks so much!
We knew that making something legitimately scary was going to be difficult with the time frame, so building with what we had was a must. Great to see it being appreciated.
Neat - TV was nicely done
this is very nice . how do you do the crt effects? is it with unity post process? great game that gives a scary mood.
Thanks for the review. I used this shader for the crt https://godotshaders.com/shader/vhs-and-crt-monitor-effect/ and the videos had crt effects that’s combined with the shader
thanks
