When the limitation was announced "losing is good" I also thought about making weight loose game game but I wasn't able to figure out how to implement it, you implemented it very nicely and the game is fun to play
10/10 Game of the Year - A totally legit comment
I get the point, the game mechanic is actually smart. Losing weight to pass obstacle and having to escape the junk food is so cool. In most of the games, food are bonuses. The game makes me also laugh when I fell the first time, turn around to get another way and see the gym room and also when I died from an heart attack because of too much eating.
Smart mechanic, smart execution. Losing is fun.
I figured there would be at least one game in this jam where the player has to lose weight! This is an interesting take on a platformer, and it's funny to see how quickly junk food increases the player's size. I also like that it can cause the player to span large gaps. Very amusing. Nice work!
Gym. good. But I lose and never win :(
I really like the puzzle vibe, fitting through or walking over various gaps depending on your mass is very interesting.
I started the game and first tried the hole in front of me. The result was failure. I got myself together, paid the gym, worked out as hard as I could, and tried again, but failed to reach it again. Maybe this is how life is.
