GBStudio, Aseprite

Use of the limitation
The basis of my game is abou the lack of ground plane/ substantial platforming islands. Really focusing on making a pit hazard a constant threat.

Nice.

I love the look of the game, but as others have stated, having to tap through the opening cut scene after a pretty punishing death mechanic with floating platforming makes it difficult to progress. I would love to see this style with checkpoints and some tuning on the platforming physics.

Controls are slippery and when you fail you have to restart from the cutscene which sucks ass. Sorry, I could not stand going through opening cutscene every time I die.

Ah yes, a GBStudio game! Haven't seen one of those in a while :D

Loving the game boy aspect :)

I love the concept of the computer web. but my skill is not great. It a bit annoying when I die and have to go for the entire long cut scene.

Always a sucker for a GB game! This was my first jam where I didn't submit a GBStudio project and I really missed it.

I love the cutscene, the usage of the 'web' theme to mean like being on the 'computer web' was clever, and the overall feel of the game was very enjoyable!

I would have loved to have had a 'retry' or 'skip cutscene' option, just because it took me a few tries to get good at the platforming feel and it got a bit repetitive!
