I thought this was a pretty neat game, almost like an adaptation of simon says. Really liked the dystopian feel of the game too! Gameplay felt a little long and repetative and it would be nice to have a little music/audio too, but over I loved the lore and the gameplay was cool
Yup, all those things were in the plan, but you know how it goes :P
Well, other than music, I wanted to do everything by myself this time around, without any 3rd party imports whatsoever. And there's just no universe in which I learn to make music over a weekend :D
(The above is the official stance, but we all know it's because the Overseer doesn't allow music :( )
To be honest, pretty addictive! Could be a bit shorter though :D
The game could feel less repetitive if you introduced new mechanics through the game flow (for example, falling spheres could be a major pain in the... bottom plane of the player's cube).
Could you, please, play and rate my game too? Thank you in advance!
Honestly didn't expect anyone to find this addictive lol. But yea, content got some serious cuts because I had to figure out so many new things on the fly and ran into some really occult problems. I had already set up a bunch of stuff for more content but once I had a working state I didn't feel like risking breaking it again :D
I've already rated your game a while ago, actually! Though, to be honest, I didn't quite get it, somehow I could only find ghosts and no patients. The few that I could find would just turn into more ghosts so I got rather confused :o
This one was stressful and sometime hard to keep the rotation xD Nice one !
Thanks! Physics is a double-edged sword :P
That was a fun one, and also very interesting concept. I took me about a sec to get what was going on but when I did, I did :)
This game is pretty cool reminds me of one of the game modes on crab game but with a more unique art style
I have an art style? Huh.
Uh, I mean, thanks, yes, I chose this cube style for its... uh... artistic properties and such artsy stuff. Not at all because it's the only thing I can model!
Interesting idea :) Gets repetitive after a while though.
Yup, sure does. Took me way too long to figure out all the pitfalls with Unity's Timeline thingy (so many occult bugs oO) to get to the content I had planned. Oh well, learning experience!
Yea, it do be like that sometimes.
I was actually pretty invested... ON CUBES! Awesome job, super fun, congrats :D
Okay, enough, everyone, stop getting invested in these damn cubes! They are clearly defective! Gees! I'm starting to worry that we may have a revolt on our hands here, shortly :O
This game is actually pretty tense. It's fun!
Never have I ever thought that I would be invested in the survival of a cube. Never have I ever thought that I would be interested in cube-politics either. There should be a sequel where the cubes rise up against the overseers and rebel against conformity.
Good job!
Damn, thanks. I technically had the time to throw in a bit more content at the end, but I was so done with it. Very new type of game for me, had to learn all the animation stuff and whatnot on the fly, and it didn't exactly go smoothly lol. But I'm glad that I at least achieved a tense atmosphere through all the struggles!
As for the fate of the cubes, well, this plays way in the past and the ones that made it through eventually became companion cubes. The ones who don't get recycled. The Overseer is very progressive, you see.
But seriously though, if there's ever a sequel, then it's _after_ I've learned how to correctly do animation stuff lol.
