Really nice entry the team got going on! The presentation was really good, and the concept was very neat. I do think that typing out the codes constantly started to get a bit tired on my hands haha. But from what I got, there wasn't enough time to add the feature, which is fair. Would love to see more of this expanded!

That last code though, bummed me out a bit. I'll admit it's very clever, but after spending a lot of time trying to get there, I wasn't sure if I was ready to discover that code by going back to the signs. Nonetheless, amazing stuff!

It was a pleasure to play Hello Underworld ! really interesting gameplay with code that you have to find to progress. Perfect music and sound effect music ! Level design well balanced just difficult enough to think a little bit.

Can't wait to see your next game ;)

Thanks !

Un Grenoblois heureux

Love this game! The level designs look really nice. I love the broken computer screens being used at the start of the game to teach you the controls. The sound effects and music were also amazing. Really interesting and fun game that suits the limitation well.

Thank you so much for your comment :)

I like this. You did a very good job! I like how the game leads you to find a pattern and use it... But the last password, ugh...

Developer(+1)

Thank you for your nice comment :) We are aware that we did a mistake on the final password... Typos and uppercase makes it really unclear, sorry about that :(

Really great game :) I would suggest to maybe switch between last typed words with arrows while in the "hack mode", just like typing in any command line

Developer(+1)

Thank you for your comment! We thought to this feature (up arrow key while in hack mode to paste older passwords) but we didn't get the time to implement it.

I don't know how to enter passwords. I tried to write $WALLOFF$5  but it always says "Wrong code".

Developer

Yeah, the typo makes really unclear when it's uppercase or not... It has been said by other players. All codes are lowercase, except one that you'll find later. Sorry about that.

I really like the idea and concept of this game, hacking the game to proceed. My only issue was that I sometimes forgot the code I needed to type and thus I got stuck. I would've liked if a part of UI would show/remind the player of all the hacks they can type. But it's a really solid and good game, I like it.

Developer

Thank you for your comment :) We thought of an "history" feature, but we didn't get the time to implement it, sorry ^^"

Really nice game, and the use of the limitation is really well done! Good work!

Thank you for your comment and for enjoying our game :D

I've spend a good morning playing to this game. Good work everyone it's very fun and cool looking, this is very impressive in such a short time ! The music is very good too, it get stuck in the head ! I just had trouble to enter some coded lines because of the font, I didn't knew if it was in uppercase or not.

Thank you for your hard work :)

Developer

Thank you a lot for your comment, and thank you for enjoying our game :D

Really cool game! Great use of the limitation. If i had to mention something it would be the hitboxes of  obstacles being really weird sometimes. You could've also used continuous collision checking to improve the physics a bit. Great job overall!

Developer

Thank you for your comment :) We are beginners with Unity, and the physics caused us a lot of troubles (at some point, falling from a certain high made the player passing through walls)... We did our best with what we knew ^^"

For the future, simply setting the collision to continuous on the rigidbodies will prevent them from going into each other, it will also solve the issue of passing through walls. One easy way to improve physics without much trouble
