pretty cool game and nice concept! I had fun playing it, you also have really nice art in the game
Honestly the setting is my kind of weird. I also like the whacky art, and the music is alright. Though if I had to pick niggles, perhaps a bigger distance between walls and stairs could be better, they sometimes get buggy, or how on the last map you can't walk down the stairs on the right after you go up them. The game kinda feels like a platformer point and click in a way with the fishing mechanic, I guess? I'd like to see this expanded a bit to be honest.
The visuals in this game is stunning, very immersive and really gives off the vibe of the world! Great job on that, the narrative is great too! I really enjoyed playing through this game, nice work team :D
I really liked the art! cool game!
I love it so much <3 the art , the music , Performance waw ! conguratulation you did amazing job. this stage of the game was one of my favourite <3 <3 Good luck great concept
Art is extremely charming! Controls were a bit finnicky, and as other people have mentioned the zoom was a bit of a problem. But overall a great job, especially with so much narrative content! Would love to see something from y'all next jam that has the same art bar, but a focus on smoother gameplay!
Visually above and beyond any game jam game I have ever seen! Funny too! Unfortunately, I got stuck pretty quick. Skill issue on my part. Just felt lost. The time spent was enjoyable despite the confusion.
Thank you very much for your kind words! I personally think the interactible objects would need more hints to be used, mostly in animation with particle, idle or wobble. We were focussed on crunching out the base content and theoretically the game is playable from start to finish, which we are very proud of. For me it works as a prove of concept, with clear problems being seen, being mostly about readability! Cheers to you Ricky Balboa
Such a sweet game, I had lot's of fun with the story! The art and music where great nothing bad about it!
Only thing was I couldn't see some text cause of the scaling of the screen, idk if it's on my end or not!
Very lovely put together, thank you very much for your feedback! One of the main points we heard from players, was to zoom out a little more, so it is clear, that it is a common problem. There was just so much content to integrate, that details sometimes had to be put behind base game stuff in priority. Nonetheless I'm pleased to hear, that you had a good time! Cheers to you SimplePixelated!
In the beginning, the goal was not obvious and I realized it only after I found the help button and then caught a couple of father's things.
To progress, I probably need to catch all father's stuff on the level, but I couldn't play long enough.
Visually, it was the first game that attracted me (I had to scroll to the end of the page). The gameplay is not very exciting, but everything else is awesome. Art and narrative are really cool.
