I tried the post-jam version, but I couldn’t really figure out what to do.. What’s the difference between the shopping cart icon list and the “todo” icon list? How do I win a battle? What’s burning a card doing? I have so many questions 🥹 Also, for the web version being broken, it might have to do with itch viewport settings or godot project scaling settings, like setting stretch to “none” instead of “keep” or “expand”
All things considered still congrats for submitting! I know how hard it can be to run out of time too quickly :’)
Thanks a lot!
Unfortunately, I completely forgot to add some sort of description in-game and the UI is very confusing, I know :/
Also thanks a lot for the advices on the web version, I will try to play with those settings and see what I can get :)
Unfortunately, the web version is not playable and won't let me download the desktop version.
I’ve uploaded a fixed version, the web one is still broken though and I don’t have a clue as to why it is. What do you mean exactly by “won’t let me download”? Btw, thanks for trying to play the game!
When I try to press download on either version, only on your page, no download starts. I have tried again now but nothing has changed. Strange.
Well that’s weird :/ Sadly, I don’t know how to help
the web version is sadly unplayable. the window does not resize, leaving me with a 320x240 or so window.
I Honestly can’t seem to figure out why the window is so broken in the web version :/ it is playable on windows now, after patching up the main bugs. Thanks though
I downloaded it to give it a go but I couldn't tell what I was supposed to be doing. You definitely need a screen explaining the game, or even just update your game's description page to explain it!
In the rush of fixing the game I’ve completely forgot to add even the smallest tutorial text :’) Updated the description page and uploaded a post-jam version, thanks for trying the game!
It doesn't seem like this is a finished game? The card UI doesn't reset after battle, no sounds, confusing game overall. I don't know how to play it, and what the goal is. Very little made sense, so next time probably try to make a game that's small, simple, but easy to understand, and you can go from there :)
Yes your’re right, I had troubles implementing the initial idea because it was too much for me. I’m still working on it to fix the main bugs and release a working version (as a learning experience).
Thanks a lot for trying to play this mess though! And for the advices, I will definitely start from a simpler and smaller design next time :)
Great! Glad I could help ;D
