The melee was really cool in the way it pushes enemies back in a kind of grabbing motion. I also really loved the concept of the store and the way it popped up. Overall really cool, good job!
Has an undeniable appeal, probably too easy to get too powerful though!
I am stacked on shields, papers, red targets, red crosses, stars, everything. I have become a slaughterhouse of stick figures in an arena filled with items I don't want. I have become my own prison inside this computer, cursed to left click on sticks that disappear immediately and then press the X to close purchasing items, because I don't want them.
I must break from this cycle. There is nothing left.
There most be something more to this, more beauty than just this...
10/10 would item again.
It was very fun.
Lets just say stacking those silver bullets, critical chance and attack speed makes you very very broken.
I had about 18 silver bullets and it took me several minutes to exit the shop because I wasn't moving at all XD
I liked the amount of buffs that you could get, and dashing is always fun, cool game!
You appear to have some visual jitter, if you're using godot 4.3, try going to project settings-> general-> physics-> common and enabling physics interpolation while setting physics jitter fix to 0.
I think the game could also benefit from some juice: some sound when you shoot and hit enemies, enemies shaking, flashing and getting knocked back on hit.
Maybe a tooltip for the collection upgrades would help. Nice game
During my first playthrough, I didn’t notice the dash and grab mechanics, which turned out to be really fun.
I think making the information about the items more readable would help highlight this second use of the limitation even better. Unfortunately, it’s hard to stop and read the effects (both positive and negative) of each item.
That being said, great game, and I really liked the use of hand-made assets (literally)!
I love all the gameplay mechanics, only I wish that your items would show up when you get them in some way, and I also noticed that I never really stopped to read what items did, so maybe make time slow down so you can read the description? idk great game tho
The item effects and art are really nice, and the dash and grab mechanics are pretty fun to use.
Combining the gameplay of Vampire Survivors with thematic elements is indeed quite innovative.
great game, got the limitation but you can't die from shooting so it dosnt relly matters
Nice game! Enjoyed the simple visuals and the item designs, but wow it's really punishing to have so many items with so many drawbacks. In the end I was just super fast and took a ton of damage, so I died pretty fast.
