It's too hard for me :D Looks great though! And the game concept is very interesting :)
Have a cookie for also using Godot:
Using your time to the fullest, I see! :D
Thank you!
I was pretty sure this isn't the closest I have ever gotten to the deadline and I was right, lmao.
Great artstyle and very smart useage of UI c:
My absolute favourite so far. Super addicting. Perfect concept, really really great.
Just one question: What exactly does the leaderboard show? It was disappointing, the farer I cam, the lower my numbers on the board became... (M3isterNext)
Thank you for the high praise!
Regarding the highscore issue, it tracks 2 things: How many waves you defeated and how fast did you manage to do it. Could it be that you were just surviving and not killing enemies, since that is how you progress the waves?
Anyways, that was definitely an error on my side, the highscore/wave system should be clearer now.
Thanks for playing!
I killed constantly enemies, but a lot of kills were trick kills. Meaning: I did not kill them by sword reflection but rather I took a tactical position such that the enemies kill themselves, you know what I mean? Could that be an issue?
Kind regards and thank you for the reply.
Thats some crazy good polish. Really liked the visuals and the sound
Great visuals, and fun gameplay mechanics, lovely sounds aswell. but theres always more enemies than you can dodge or parry because of the slow cooldowns. I also think the connection to the limitation is pretty loose. Overall really solid.
Amazing presentation! The scoreboard is a nice thing to add.
