Pretty cool game, very inspiring! The gameplay and rhythm felt good and it could easily be polished into a full game. Well done on this one, especially for the time constraints. I sometimes lost my streak after hitting the squares, or the squares just jumped over the window where I could hit the keys, but it felt relatively smooth most of the game. Great entry!

Seems nice, but I feel like this would be better as a downloadable game. It took two minutes to load, and there were some small problems with connectivity (minor lag spikes, didn't register my key presses, really minor either way).

Oh, one last question. Is the music royalty free?

Developer

The music is royalty free! It's from NCS, I put all the credits in the description of the game. It's crazy how good the songs are considering they're free!

About the loading thing: It seems everybody has had issues with that, so I'll work on trying to fix that. That is the issue with loading 4 high quality songs.

Love the rhythm! Keys feel weird but thats part of the jam XD

I thought it was easy at first but as soon as the song picked up it got a lot harder! Could be nice to have more audio/visual feedback if I hit one of the keys wrong as it was hard to tell if I was hitting them at the right time.

I wanted to make my submission rhythmic at first too, but I couldn't figure it out haha - glad to see someone did! It's impressive to see multiple songs with easy controls, though, it is a bit disorienting when you lose streaks even after hitting the squares. I really, really liked the blurry transitions to each song, and the song selection screen was super smooth too! Pretty cool, overall :)
