Gameplay was really simple, which isn't bad but it got boring after a bit. The art was great though!

Developer

Thanks! We are working to add more variety in gameplay and level design.

Ok, now this is epic.

Cheers!

IMHO it is realy fun game. good art, nice music and interesting core mechanics. Generally i like it. Offcourse you can add some new mechanics and chelenges, but for 72h jam it is really good.

Thank you

Gameplay is pretty boring. There's no real point to the game besides 'get to the end'. There's no real way to lose and the use of the limitation has been done before a million times. With most game jam games my reaction is 'Wow, that can be turned into a good game!', but here, there is no game. No deaths, no shop, no characters, no clear goal, no story. The only thing there is is art.

The art is pretty good, and the parralax effects are nice. I just don't know if this is a game. xP

Thank you for the honest feedback! We are thinking about adding more puzzle type obstacles and giving each player a different ability to make them work together better. Like one can crouch to get through smaller spaces, and one can double jump to get to higher places, with more emphasis on swinging around using the tether.

Is there anything that you would suggest to make it better?

These are very interesting ideas! Maybe make the round character able to roll into a ball and gain speed? And maybe the pointy one can climb walls with it's pointy edged.

I see you have good ideas to take this further, and I hope you come up with something great in the future! :)

What hasn't already been said about this? This masterpiece showcases great amounts of effort and thought into everything implemented. The graphics are charming, music is so atmospheric, character design is completely phenomenal, and movement is responsive. This game has incredible potential to be expanded into a purchasable game, I'd love to see a finished product!

Developer(+2)

Thank you! Yes we've already started looking at how we can develop the game further :)

That’s great to hear! I’m really looking forward to it

Art and style of this game are sublime. I missed soundeffects, though. And due to the implementation of physics, the controls sometimes felt a bit 'clunky'.

But that's criticism on a high level. 😁 The game is great. 👍😊

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! We tried getting some light snow tread footsteps in there but it was really buggy because of how fast the characters walk cycle was, but it's definitely something we're going to look at adding in there. Same with the controls haha they definitely need a lot of adjustment 😅!

Love the artstyle and the music, feels great to play! Also smart use of the limitation.

Developer

Thanks!

As others here state, It's indeed visually very stunning game. I think it just lacks some more gameplay elements to go with the visuals, but as you had only 72h it's understandable that you can't have both gameplay and art.

Really impressive anyway, good job!.

Developer (1 edit)

Thanks! Yea we're hoping to add a lot more stuff for a longer game.

Submitted(+1)

Amazing visuals and sound, this would definitely look cool as a full game.

Developer

Thank you! We can't wait to build it out further.

Awesome Game! The visuals are so good. The Gameplay and controls also worked very well. More obstacles can be added in this game since it has lot of potential but i understand due to lack of time it was not possible. Good Job!

Developer(+1)

Thanks! Yes we're eager to add more obstacles and make it a lot longer :)

Now this was very neat!

Also a smart way to got about it - instead of only using either WASD or Arrow Keys, you used both, and it still counts as the limitation being used correctly!

The vector art for the characters is very neat... if I can later I'll try the game with one of my brothers to see how it fares as a co-op game.

Good job!

Developer(+1)

Thank you :)

The limitation actually helped us refine our idea! We were really stuck until it was announced.

Submitted(+1)

Really cool graphics! All the game is very polished, and the idea fits the limitation perfectly. Amazed you did this in just three days!

Developer

Thank you!
