Thank you!!!

0.12 was uploaded at 3:19pm and only fixed the UI so that UI objects would properly scale with screen size; no other changes.

NOTE: 0.11 was the last version submitted in time. Might fix a couple more things and upload new builds but for the purposes of our submission its technically 0.11. Thank you!

Made it past two wave bosses and then died - I was amazed with how many waves there are! I also love the sprinkles as a projectile, that was brilliant. I do think that the teleport icon got in the way a little bit, but not enough to make me lose right off the bat or anything. Music was dope, so cool that there were even wave bosses - I could see this being a real bullet hell game with some refinement. Most importantly, was fun to play! I also liked how the teleport cool down decreased after the first wave boss, it was a cool mechanic.

Very very amusing game, I only wish I had someone to play it with for maximum enjoyment. I feel like the pick up animation was a bit slow, though that may have been a choice to allow for the other player to attack in that moment. I love the concept and the character models though, as always UE is very pleasing to the eyes.

Broken in what ways? I'd love to know what went wrong so I can do better next time

Haha those were the two features I ran out of time for :$ thanks for playing!

bro i was so brofused the first time i bro'd it up but bro now i brotally dig it.

bro the dialogue animations were brotastic, i tried doing dialogue for the first time in my bromission but i couldnt get it to be nearly as bro-ish as yours, bro, you get what I mean?

ay screw brohan

10/10

Freaking brilliant. Short and cute, and pretty funny! The BSOD at the end was a really nice touch too. I couldn't find ram after a bit in the dark and when I saw that there was more than one chrome I was like 'tf' bUT I loved it. Good shit.

Kept getting bumped off by the red guys, I think there could have been more momentum in the ball's movements. Otherwise, the concept is super cool and it brought back so many memories of playing the 90s pinball on shitty school computers as a kid.

the screen shake lowkey gave me a headache but it was so much fun otherwise. i'm glad there was a respawn without losing progress, since you can't run. ALSO it was great to see that I'm not the only one who made a vape-related joke. The first half reminded me of like slenderman, pizza delivery, etc. the classic indie horror game vibe and I was impressed by the sound and FULL VOICE ACTING like goddamn I struggled to put like, 3 sounds, in my game. Anyway, great jam!

Loved the setting and how you incorporated memories into this! I found the raycast targeting was a bit off though, as you couldn't shoot in a direction but rather at the specifc target - one or two groups of enemies also moved too fast for the reload time but other than that it was really cool! I could totally see this being fleshed out in the future, becoming like a dystopian tower defense with decision making in between waves - super cool!

Thanks so much!! I used Skeletal animation, which was a lot of fun to animate. Unfortunately I had to cut out walking animations as part of my time budget, since I wanted to focus on the dialogue. Thanks so much for playing though, glad you liked it :)

I was really impressed with this! Even though the title was a giveaway, it was still clever and I didn't see it coming. When I played the part where you turn around, my first thought was "oh man I'd be so proud of myself if I came up with this." I did find that a few jumps were clanky though, and I played through it three times and couldn't make it to the end without it crashing. But, the art is really nice as is the music! Good stuff, going from 2D to 3D. I've been to spooked to try 3D since I'm new to all this, so the blend was especially cool to see :)

Thanks so much! I wasn't sure if everyone would appreciate the humor, but I suppose there's an audience out there for anyone - thanks for being part of mine! I'll check out your game ASAP.

I'm glad you enjoyed it! I had such a blast writing for this, but I have to say - Unity did give me some trouble towards the end haha

10/10 stared at the cat for way too long.

Jokes aside, the movement felt really snappy and though it was short it was quite enjoyable. This is probably the best pixel art I've seen so far in the submissions and I think it would be hard to beat this. I loved the sound too, it matched perfectly!

Some jumps felt a tiiiiny bit short but totally doable and the checkpoints were noticed and much appreciated! Good stuff!!!

The game looks and sounds super cool, but the gameplay doesn't really match. I spent a few minutes swinging at the same knight and nothing really happened. Other than that, The cinematics were really well done for a jam! Some of the narrative was... off, though.

Loved the pixel art vibes! There was a bit of confusion with depth of objects in the frame but other than that the main mechanic was super cool, I especially liked the snapshot feature.

Thank you so much! I know the dialogue system was rusty, but I loved trying something new and I'm glad you enjoyed it :)

Thanks so much!

The art was really cute, and the concept is fairly amusing. Maybe it's just me, but I was expecting a twist at the end like spikes or something lol.

Cool mechanic with only being able to shoot in the direction that you move, but I think you could adjust some things to work with it better, I found myself going back and forth over and over to kill the same wave of enemies. Sound was amazing though.

BRUH THE MUSIC IS A FUCKING BOPPPPPPP I was like kinda laughing along but loving every moment of it. I kinda skipped the lower levels and went straight for 2000m, and I gotta say at times it feels like I would injure my fingers if I tried to dodge some rocks. I think some of the rocks have a larger collider than their sprites or something - other than that, this was a really cool jam!

(I couldn't do the 2k btw)

The art was really cool, and I loved the music! I couldn't get the hang of it though, kept dyin within a few seconds (T-Pose on death was funny though)

The art style was so cool! A bit eye-boggling at times, but for the most part I really liked it. The dialogue fits well into the art too, though I couldn't backtrack for some reason so I had to stop halfway

The sounds were really cute, and I loved the menu! The mechanic was interesting, but sadly I couldn't get the hang of it :( Maybe I'm just really bad but a line of instruction might help others like me! :)

The jumps felt a bit high, which almost slowed it down and the lack of animations made me feel oddly less tense. I liked the music, but maybe adding a timer or something would make the tension more long-lasting... other than that, it was short but fun to play :)

This was pretty fun to play! A little instruction at the start would've been cool, but once I figured it out it was neat. Although, the ninja stars are totally broken and I basically just spammed that.

I loved the art and glittery particle effects! Physics interactions are always fun, but I did notice a few jumps were a bit off compared to the others - in the sense that I had to try a good number of times before landing them, due to an obstacle. I tried going through the whole world but at one point the main camera got stuck so I sorta left it there. I liked it though, a more fleshed-out version would be cool!

Thank you so much!

I love Baba is You, that means a lot to me!! I wanted a cutesy artstyle similar to baba as well, but I didn't think about it too much while designing the rocks/player.

Thank you so much! I thought my levels were really iffy because I couldn't get the difficulty I wanted but I'm glad you liked it :)

Totally understand the music bit, I wasn't too happy with it either. Thanks for playing though!! I hope to make it longer and more complex moving forward :)

Oh that's awesome! I thought it was a bit louder when I got 250, but then I was like "nah must be in my head".

B R U H

I'm fucking amazed at how cool this is. The key combos are such a cool and unique mechanic, it feels like you're a wizard actually casting a spell instead of pressing a button and seeing your mana bar go down like in other games. The enemies are just the right difficulty, and once I got the hang of it I had a lot of fun. It would be so cool as a full-fledged game where you learn one spell at a time. The whole "1 year" journey could be the game, like damn I'm so inspired right now.

Thank you so much! Sound ended up being on the bottom of my priority list but I know it could be so much better next time :)

Yeah, while I was making the music I thought it might be too much haha ;0 my biggest problem was actually difficulty, so its interesting that you bring up rock-touch death... With that, it was too hard, but without it it's too easy.

If I update it (which I hope to) I'll definitely consider implementing touch-death! Thanks so much for playing :)
