Oof I'm insane now ... really cool game, I wish I could finish the damn last meters somehow :'(

I loved this game! You made a platformer game that requires perfection, miss a platform and you probably have to restart, jump a tiny bit later and you'll hit a cactus (I never feared them so much in my life). The art is really cool and the sound too (especially the sfx of the end of the level is very satisfying). Well done, you built a short but challenging game that gave me that feeling of true satisfaction once I beated it.

Fun little game, provided a little challenge that I enjoyed completing. A little punishing in places, but nothing too frustrating. The timer mechanic makes adds a great twist, good job!

First of all the tutorial is simple. The fact you use Label nodes on Godot is just a dumb but yet simple and efficient way to learn the player what he needs to do. The instructions were clear, and the gameplay very simple. It was also a very good thing to remove the tutorial when you completed it instead of going back to it.

The difficulty was hard, but the time was just what was needed for me. This water bar mechanic is again, very simple, and it fits the theme of Oasis very well in my opinion. The tilemap sprites were great...

So what I have to say: Simplicity is key and you did very well with this game design pillar, I wanted to restart until I complete the 3 levels of the game. Very cool game! :)

this is cool.
the controls are really nice and snappy, the camera feels good.

gameplay is allright, the level design is great for a platformer, but it's brutally punishing to die on Level 3 and have to do the previous levels again. Loved it!

Aesthetics... the game looks allright. since it's brutally punishing, would make the player sprites stand out in contrast a bit more, like having a black outline or smt.

audio, there could be more loops using the same made melodies :D like the drums really sell the vibe of the Egyptian atmosphere.  not all instruments need to be playing at all times... makes it feel like the music was a last minute implementation

Anyhow, your game is so much better then what I've made :D very well done!

Thank you for your feedback!

I agree with you on the outlines, but doing a 16x16 sprite with outlines its kinda hard. And its my first time using audios in my games (and trying to make a song), so it was kinda messy!
