So like you mentioned in a comment below, changing the gate's colour to green would have been a nice touch.

I ended up playing this for a while. I really like it. I also understand that the controls must be a little bit hard to prevent everything from being too easy, so I have no complaints.

Great little game!

Great work! I didn't expected a racing game, it took me by surprise---in a good way! I really enjoyed the mechanics, the driving feeling was very nice. I would suggest to try a continuous (vs discrete) controller, that is, a mouse or a joystick instead of the WASD. Although as I said, the game was very enjoyable as is :) So congratulations on delivering this game in just 72h!

Great game although the controls took a while to get used to, in the future a mode where it goes in the direction of the mouse might be a good fit. Now this is pod-racing!

I really liked the racing mechanics, though i'd prefer to have some kind of race to finish line mode to beat those other drivers. Still, good fun, congratz! :)

Thanks! I had the race until you run out of time mode as way to have some sort of permadeath. I might add more traditional type races later if I decide to keep working on the game,

I like the style of the game.

It would have been nice, if you added some sound effects, for example when you pass a gate.

Sound for passing gate is good idea. I was also thinking of having the gates change colors once passed but didn't have time
