Love the "you dried" message!

Hi, I played the game, and have to mention that the UI is amazing.

The game itself is very polished and we can see the hardwork, I feel the game pace could be improved, for example I just walked around the map trying find the enemies and I couldn't. Overall the game is great, GL !

Than you for the feedback!!! I am working right bow actually to make the gampelay curve a bit steeper and to remind what the main objective is! And hepl the player find the oasis in the start! :)

Nice game! I like the idea of having a shared resource between the player and the base we try and defend. I also like watching the oasis shrink and grow as water moves in and out of it. Also that cloud effect is really cool.

My only question is, am I the bad guy? ;)

Developer

Thank you for appreciating it!! I guess you could say so yes, there is not really a good guy or bad guy.... If you think you are the bad guy then you are the bad guy? I don't know

I am using Linux but thanks to Wine I could launch your game, so maybe that's why it caused these things: The first 3 times I played, it worked fine, but when I relaunched the game again, the GUI wasn't appearing anymore in game, no map, no water, nothing :/  Keep in mind it's maybe because I am on Linux using the Windows build of your game! A very minor thing: You didn't add collisions to the house! :P

Other than that, based on the 3 quick games I've played before it didn't work anymore, the gameplay was interesting, because there was kind of a little background story even if it's kind of an arcade game, which is something I liked. The how to play part is clear and simple. The sound control in the option is also a good + !The art style was cool!

In conclusion, that's a nice game you've got there! :)

Thank you very much for your in depth review! Glad that you enjoyed it.... Everything got a bit roughed up during the end hence no collider on the house and the game is not very challenging ... Yes that might be why it did not work as well for you, I was planning for it to be played on windows... :)

I enjoy the top down perspective and the pixel art is very nice. The concept is interesting. I like the game.

The game was interesting though i had difficulty finding the oasis at first so maybe spawning nearer or right beside would help and reload sfx would make the game more immersive aswell. I also like the art of the game!

Yes I realised that now heheh, you get blind for things like that....
