Sometimes the random generation of who spawns in what window can be very mean! I had one game that started with 2 robbers at each window, I got one and then another spawned. But a very cute game all the same! I loved seeing the various people looks through the windows.
This game is so cute! Not just in the art, which is fantastic, but also the attention to detail, like the barking onomatopeia in various languages. Unfortunately, though, I haven't seen the good ending if there's one despite several attempts, because I keep getting caught between two robbers and running out of barking energy. Also, the background music is nice but it seems the song doesn't loop?
Very simple, very cute. I like it a lot. There are occasions where I get two tough robbers simultaneously and I can’t fend both off, which feels unfortunate. Overall, I love the game.
Great looking and fun simple game
Really pretty game! I loved the art the criminals remind me a lot of zalinki on youtubes style. I love it, the dog and little girl were adorable.
It did feel like barking to the right was alot slower that barking to the left which was very off putting. also I couldnt figure out how many hits it took to take out a criminal, some times it was 3 sometimes it was more. I think maybe there HP reset when they took a step forward but im not 100 sure.
Really Good entry, alot of charm and I was pretty motivate to not get dognapped. Great work!
The Art is probably the best in the whole jam!
Amazing presentation and good concept but I don't see anything relating to the limitation, pausing. Also there should probably be some indication that time is passing so the player can feel like they are progressing and not that there is no end to criminals.
Thank you for the feedback! ^^ Totally agree about the timer, we wanted it in before submitting to the jam but we ran out of time. The pausing element is when you have to pause to eat. :D Also conceptually the whole game is based around the dog waiting for their owner so I thought that was a kind of pause. Don't know if that one counts though haha -Haley (the artist)
