Took me a hot minute to figure out that the reason I was losing so fast was that both bananas and strawberries, fruits which are frequently used as ingredients in deserts, count as not sweets. Super cute art tho!

Sweet twist on the fruit catcher game and the kitty is soo cute with his adorable sounds!♡ The artwork is really nice and the sounds too! I really enjoyed feeding the little kitty and his reaction to eating the wrong things was really funny XD

Cute. :D Once I figured out how you run it got a lot easier. :)
The game looks cute, really liked the kitten. The gameplay could have more to it, exploring more of the running abillity making the game harder. Sometimes you run without double tapping to the right direction, I think the running works if you quickly tap A and then D or vice-versa. This makes the cat run in situations when you didn't want to. It's a very simple and charming game, congratulations on getting it done :)
Hi! Thanks you for the kind words :) Our kitten artist is very good😎 The run ability is activated after double-tap and has a cooldown of 3-4 seconds, i think. Run ability just doubles your speed for a short amount of time. I would have liked to add some heavier fruits and sweets for faster reaction time. Another mechanic could be a hunger meter, that way a player is required to catch sweets and avoid vegetables

This would be perfect for mobile (the aspect ratio would also fit).

I've had no idea that cat could not eat cucumber/bananas the game doesn't told me that in any way. Also the sounds and music are almost unhearable I couldn't find any settings for that.

The atmosphere is cute and I love it! The music and the art flow perfectly together. You did great work as a team!
One problem is, that you actually break the jam limitation. As KingW said, only two buttons are allowed for the entire game. This goes for menus as well. Still I hope this doesn't get removed, since it's kind of a small violation anyway.

The cat is kawaii af. When you get used to the mechanic is almost impossible to fail, may I suggest to add some kind of timer to make the game more challenging?
Hi! Thank for playing our game :D I added a little bit of difficulty increase each 500 points in the last moment but seems like it didn't impact much on the first few minutes of gameplay . I'll try to think more on the timer mechanic(like a combo meter?), maybe add heavier fruits that will fall very fast from the counter.
Both this solutions should work well with the main concept! You can use both timer and combo meter to refill time meter.
This was a cute game, I'm not sure how the speeding up works, but it was enjoyable.
