good surprise, funny game ^^
the art is awesome and i love the fact that the ball is a little guy haha ^^
some improvement idea:
-add some screenshots of your game to make people want to test it
- the enemies had to pass in front of the pink bricks so that the player can see them better !
Very very good idea! Wow games in this jam are supreme xD. It would be better if shooting had sound and if the enemies didn't go through the blocks. Overall it's very fun, as all games should be.
Thank you! I can't believe I forgot to add sfx to shooting. I have every intention of making the enemies not go through the blocks. Will fix this.
Cool concept. The art and music was well designed. I got stuck in an endless Gameover loop somehow when I tried to restart the game.
Yeah I get that loop every few plays. I am definitely going to fix this. Thanks for feedback!
Original idea, i wouldn't ever thought about a game like this, it would be amazing to see a full thing out of this. Nice brainstorming you did there! it's addicting
Thanks for your kind words. I definitely have plans to improve on this project.
Really cool concept, I would love to see this as a full game! The art fits well and I just love how you bounce your character rather than just a regular square Some things I noticed that could do with some work are the controls and the enemies. I found it hard to keep track of the panel down the bottom that I need to move, and which enemies I need to shoot at the same time, not sure if this could be improved or not but I feel like it could a bit. The enemies also took quite a few hits to defeat than I thought they would, and often found myself dying despite me landing most of my hits on the enemies
Thanks for your feedback. I too am feeling like the enemies may be a bit too difficult. I think I'm oing to move the hearts to the top in a small UI panel along a scoring text i meant to add. Also thinking about adding a small point at the edge of the screen to warn of incoming enemies.
