For player controls I recommend starting with the Unity standard assets first person controller.  The general concept was pretty good, and I like the literal puzzle platforms.

Despite the weird camera, and the graphics it’s a very fun game! I like the descriptions/dialogue for interacting with the items, and especially love that the world is literally in pieces

I couldn't get the movement, especially the camera working to enjoy the game at all.
