I like the art and the story, but I really have no idea what to do! More cookies maybe?

The art style and story were fun, and I really enjoyed the concept of mixing different elements. However, the game desperately needs some kind of tutorial, as it isn't clear why mixing some elements increases power while mixing others decreases it. Cool game though!

The palm tree behind Captain Starbeard looks like a giant frog sticking his tongue out, and that brings us joy!

Definitely needs a tutorial or something.  Animations could make selections more clear, and audio can help bring it too life.  It's basically a match it game but they only move likes knights from chess (L shape), and matches aren't consistent through levels.  The animations for the dialogue is smooth, but the rest of the game needs a lot of polishing.

The intros were pretty cool with how the character and their environment pop into the screen! I think some additional description for the controls and the element combinations might help get the player into the game faster. It was an interesting concept with having to manage the board and combine the elements
