Cool mechanic! I tried your game before you updated the controls and I have to say its a huge improvement! Well done!
Hard at first but original idea and with good style
The best gameplay I´ve tried in Jam. I liked a lot. 4x5.
Love to hear it!
I like the gameplay, I just wish the hook mechanism worked better for me. Not sure if it was a bug, or I was doing something wrong, but even after re-reading the directions and trying different controls, I couldn't get the fishing line to drop or come back up again. But other than that, this was fun! I like the simplistic art and that everything was so tiny. I think this game could be really fun and addicting with just a couple improvements with the controls. Great game overall!
Hmm I'm curious as I've been testing with a few different mice - would you be able to share what kind of mouse you tried with? The mouse wheel delta seems to be super inconsistent across hardware. Thanks for trying! Will try to fix.
Great entry! The game play was pretty fun to just mess around with, flinging people up then catching them was quite cathartic. Was a bit confused when dealing with people in houses, thought maybe it was bugged, I did find them eventually tho. Maybe the buildings could have lights when someone is inside would help. Good stuff
Wonderful! The graphics fit very well, and the tight ship controls with a physics-based hook was difficult but silly and fun.
very fun game. great graphics, music was a BOP and the passive run is always the best. However the hook reeling in and out was a bit inconsistent in if it wanted to work or not so I just flew down, held left click and hoped the humans would touch the hook.
8/10 - I actually really liked this one
yeah scroll wheel is being inconsistent for people, I'm gonna add button supports for it, they've never failed me! (Oh thanks for playing I'm glad you liked it! We had fun with it haha)
Fixed! The scroll wheel should feel more responsive and now there are button based controls for it. Also, added a couple levels to better showcase the mechanics we built.
