Fun entry! With little additions you could improve it a lot. You could add more sounds to combats to give more feedback (hits, splatter, etc.). I would also change the fonts to match the characters style (pixelated). Also it’s good to have a way to skip the tutorial when you want to play it again.

there is music it is bugged
A more crunchy sound effect for killing enemies would really to wonders, but it is fun to run around, blasting down the blobs with my machine gun as it is lol.

Fun game! My only complaint is that there is no health bar for the boss.
