Perfect use of both theme and limitation!

I had some trouble in the first play trough, but i get the hang of the barrel trowing!

Good job!

Please, if you have the time, play my game too!

You did a good job with the level generation. I got to level 8 and I did not get stuck and I did not see any trapped barrels. This simple gameplay is appealing and a little addictive. I suggest adding some explosions to barrels and some screen shake. Juice it up a little and this game will be much more addictive!

It feels good to pick up and throw the barrels but some more feedback on how and why the barrels disappeared would be even better.

This is your first game for a jam?? Wow, it’s not bad at all for the first time! I would suggest to add more audio effects to have some feedback when you pick or when you through. Sounds improve the experience with very little effort. I used a similar idea btw: to leave a dungeon empty haha.

Developer

I have done a bit of game dev stuff before, but this was my friends' first time doing a jam and my first time doing a proper one on itch.io. Sounds were definitely a thing we wanted to add, but most of our time was spent making the mechanics and learning the engine lol. Thank you for the advice!
