Very creative take on the theme! It is fun but also very challenging
I was not very good at this game lol. I like the concept, seemed a bit difficult or I just really am bad haha
Not entirely sure how reverse worked here and why but it was fun to play anyway! Music was bomb :D
I like the simplicity of the game. The control's felt simple, and the music and sound effects felt fitting for the game and the events that occur (grabbing the coins, jumping, flipping the flag).
The start of the game can feel inconsistent, as the platform may be lowering already with few coins to grab, or the platform is raising and there's a multitude of coins to grab. I was also surprised by how long I can remain offscreen only to die afterwards. This feels as though there's something off screen that I can avoid in order to prolong the game, but I cannot tell if that was the intention.
I did try to do an infinite jump where I alternated between reversing the flag to regenerate jumps and then pressing space, though sometimes the regeneration failed to occur. This mechanic does feels like it can introduce an technique or strategy for advanced players.
Overall, it is simple arcade-style game with a control scheme that can possibly result in advanced techniques if polished further.
Cool game, the music was very fitting too! I would often get stuck going back and forth in one corner as i had to reverse when the level itself stretched or collapsed in order to not die. Maybe it would make sense if only the guy or the course reversed? Sadly i also think the control scheme made it really hard to get into. With a bit of tweaking, you'd have something pretty nice here!
Thanks for giving my game a try! I think you have a really good point with only using reverse on the guy *or* the course. I am also thinking having the course ceiling and floor move together (instead of towards one another) would probably benefit playability too.
Fun little game with brainfart mechanics :)
I'm glad you enjoyed this goofy little game!
Too hard to have fun while learning how to play
I'm sorry you didn't have fun with it, thank you for giving my game a try!
I had somewhat fun because I like hard games but here I feel like it'd take me solid hour to learn how to look at everything
Interesting idea, i was confused on how the game works, went up lost, went down lost.
I appreciate the feedback! The game itself is extremely short, it is designed for be over after about 20 seconds & very easy to lose 😅
I liked the sound of the reverse and the music)) but the game itself is quite boring.
I appreciate you taking the time to play; I may have leaned to far into simplicity this time!
