How is your game related to the Theme and Special Object?
Your character can loop around a planet. Moreover, in Debris in Orbit, you must use your pickaxe to dig some gems. But be careful ! Each time you dig, asteroids are sent in orbits and loop around you.

Genius! Loved the risk vs reward gameplay, the trippy fixed perspective and the cohesive presentation. My only complaint is that it took me a while to understand how the "gem detector" worked 😅

Glad you liked it ! :) Yeah with some hindsight, I should have mentionned somewhere in the tutorial how the beam work. Its kinda implicit as the tutorial tell you to dig when the beam is green but it could have been better shown :)

This has been the prettiest one I've played so far, but I did not get the feeling of loop from it.

Also is there any rhyme or reason to where the gems spawn? I'd just hold down left and walking in a circle until more appeared. hah

Thank you for your feedback :)

For the loop theme, everything loop around the planet where you dig gems but I may agree that as Asteroids leave the screen while orbiting, its less clear that they do. But it was the best for the gameplay and to not overload the player with informations.

Each time you dig a gem, a single new one appear on the planet. It dont move. The increasing difficulty comes from the fact that orbiting asteroids (and the more and more there is) block your sensor. So you might go pass the gem. If you take full loop around the planet without searching efficiently, it works but it takes time so that mean less point

Surprisingly relaxing, I love the music choice and the aesthetic is very pleasing. Getting through the debris is quite challenging, I kept forgetting which direction left and right would take me for some reason. lol
