love the game concept .... I think it will be better for moving with arrow keys instead of WASD

I loved it! Have always wanted a cool typing game! Got a 30-40 score..

There seems to be a small bug when typing out the last characters and running out of bullet at the same time, the characters are gone but not cube, I'd need to then retype the last few characters of that word again to make it count.

As for personal preference, I'd like more if it wasn't necessary to use the mouse every now and then, it sort of "interrupts" your typing.

One additional idea might be using "Tab" to focus/aim between targets, so this makes the mouse less needed except for moving around.

Nice game!

Could've used a bit more mouse sensitivity

the reload mechanic is awesome. not a huge fan of typing games but props to you for not going on rails

This is genuinely a lot of fun to play. Plus I feel productive

Your game is i think too complicate (for me) x')

Really cool game, though level design could be improved, and also movement is pretty stiff, i love the typing though

Its very creative :)

Okay so initially I thought the controls were terrible, but not I can say confidently that this is the first fps game that would objectively play better on a laptop trackpad lol. Honestly this is the most creative entry I have played so far, and not only that but its really fun and kinda ridiculous. Seriously great job!

It's very hard!! I would love to play more with more mechanics, like a dash!! :D
Pretty good work for the Jam!!! :DD

Love the idea, controls were a headache with the fact that wasd have to sometimes be used to type but shooting enemies feels really good

This is really fun! Love the mix between FPS and typing game, its a fun way to learn to type that I might keep coming back to to use as practice! Well done!

Dam that's awesome! bit too fast for me though lol! good work!

Developer

Thanks!

Next time you play, hold shift if you are in trouble! Bullet time can be useful for you lol ;)

Submitted

oh! I hadn't realized that was a thing! thanks!

I love the concept - we also made a typing shooter though ours was retro-inspired (https://itch.io/jam/mix-and-game-jam-2020/rate/820887). I could definitely see something like this expanded on  for a fun educational game. Highest score I managed was 17!

that was alot of fun, great idea for a game!

Nice looking game. Kinda confusing at the beginning but at the end it's nice game. Enemies are too fast for my typing speed :D

Developer

Thank you for playing! You can hold SHIFT to slowmotion! This game can be really tuff! :D

Very cool game!!

this is a really nice game and a really cool concept. the only problem is that i suck at typing

Developer

You might want hold shift key for slowmotion/bullet time. ;)
