Good idea, but I have to question the choices of having everything in the game made of ice physics when every platform is so narrow, and the timing has to be so precise.

It would have greatly helped to have a key to maybe fall faster, because it's not really a rythm game when you have to predict the jumping time itself in addition to thinking about the tempo.

Really hard, but I finished it. The goal is to just avoid most platform to only focus on finding which points of contact you are supposed to have, which is weird but interesting in a way.

Yea, your right, post thinking I probably shouldn't have made it ice physics but with tight physics it was hard to come up with hard levels imo, but idk, the rush of time fogged my thoughts and other perspectives :P, and that key to fall faster is a pretty interesting idea.

What a neat idea! Especially using the repeat sign was a stroke of genius! And I had a few good chuckles along the way! I think this could work as a bigger game! The only gripe I had with it were the slippery controls, this game could really benefit from tight character feel :)

Developer(+1)

Yea I never had an actual good platformer script so I just made that abomination, I was thinking whether or not to make it tight or not :P Thanks for the feedback though!

It's really smartly done ! The repeat sign was a neat idea. The character is a bit too slippery for such small platforms IMO, but other than that, great job !

Nice game! I like how a platformer is mixed with a rythm game. I had some problems when i tried to jump, spamming the space bar repeatedly but having nothing happen :P

I was going to quit when i realised that W was used to jump. Maybe have some instructions on the controls instead of just the main mechanics in the game. The game turned out awesome, nice job!

Developer

Yea definitely! One simple line of code and I coulda made it W, Space, or Up arrow, I completely forgot! You are totally right

Wow,just WoW!:)

It is really an fun and interesting gameplay with nice sounds.

Cool game. I really like the design and idea. It was quite challenging for me but anyway that’s great! Good job!

Please check my game as well ;)

Great idea and great use of the theme. Took me awhile to realise I was shuffling to the edge.

I enjoyed this game a lot. It is challenging but also entertainment. Good job :D

Such a cool concept and excellent execution. The art style was perfect for this as well. I definitely did find it a bit frustrating. I might also recommend a refresher for the player that the sharp notes kill you when you see the sharps for the first time, I didn't realize why I was dying, and figured I was doing something wrong

Developer

Thanks! The art style was meh, they didn't really match and looked bad but thanks anyways :P. Wdym by refresher? Like have text appear after dying to them a lot or what? Because I put a thing saying that sharp notes kill you, or are you saying for me to say what a sharp note looks like?

Submitted

No way, the art felt simple and classy :) Yeah I meant some text pop up after you die them a couple times. It's totally possible it was there and I just missed it too, I was pretty sleep-deprived when I wrote this!

I liked the idea and the game a lot! Btw sometimes having to wait if you failed only for a millisecond makes you feel frustrated so i would recommend a repeating button or something like that.. Also, as the character is pretty slipy, i would have made the note collisions boxes, so you don't fall that easily! Finally, pretty fun game, i liked it a lot!

Developer(+1)

Wow, I never thought of a repeat button, that's actually some good feedback! Thanks! I didn't want the song to reset every death cause it'd sound weird but yea a repeat button woulda been perfect.

Nice game well done, the player was a bit frustrating though, really slippery and slidey which added an extra level of differculty, but still enjoyed the game. Well done

Submitted

Very nice ! I love the idea ! Simple and clean, good job !

A little bit hard to know when the melody begins, the first jump is harder to time than the others. It's a small thing but it could improve the game a lot if you find a way to show the start ^^

Developer(+1)

Yea it was definitely weird, it was hard cause I didn't have like a level designer so I had to hard code and hard shove some things, at the end it was a mess XD

Submitted(+1)

Nice! Really fun. Only small suggestion is maybe to completely reset the level when the player dies so you aren't sitting there waiting for it to come back to the start

Developer

I was thinking about that but I thought maybe it would sound like a mess, it was a 50/50 option so I didn't know :P

Submitted

oh yeah I hadn't really thought about the sound. That's a good point. Oh well in any case still a good game

Submitted

Cool concept, although the player felt very slippery which made the game feel unresponsive and much more frustrating than it needed to be.
