Cool game idea! tried to beat if a few times but wasn't able to win it, maybe make an easier level first, or some way to recover some of the health?

Solid entry! I love this kind of games! My first reaction when I played the first time was to move the king into the tent but I couldn't :( Nonetheless, I loved it!

I thought it was really cool but definitely could've benefited with a shorter level. Good job man!

Cool concept! I think the framework is solid and could be built on even more to make a really awesome game. I think an attack of opportunity system could be a really cool addition. I think that because you can't adjust anything after you finish moving that turns should end automatically. Nice job though! :)

The idea was really fun and I liked the TBS, using a keyboard to move pieces would make it a lot smoother and improve the overall pace of the game and some kind of way to heal up to make it winnable.

Developer

thanks, we just thought the best way to control it would be the mouse otherwise you would need different shortcuts for the 3 units and that would also get a bit hard to play at first try.
Well the thing is I tried it alot and wasnt so sure if it was to hard or not but i guess we made it a bit to hard in the end, it is winnable tho.

Overall, I liked the game. I would give it another playthrough if I knew or felt it was possible to win. :)

thanks, maybe we set it a bit to hard, i can assure you it is solvable and if you play it perfect you can even solve it without getting a hit.

The combat works well, but the gameplay is just very slow paced. Don't get me wrong, the tbs was a good choice; it's just a bit clunky. I wish it would just advance to the next turn when I've moved my units, or that I could just press a keyboard button to advance. My knights also died before I got to the part with the lakes. Was there a way to refill their health? I didn't use the king until the knights were dead, because I thought that he needed to be protected.

Developer

thanks, i did also think it was a bit slow based, the check if every unit moved and then go to the next turn would have improved that for sure
there is no way to refill, it is solvable, just quite hard as it seems, if you move the units in a way that for the stronger enemies both attack in the same round you would get no dmg.

I like the strategic combat and baiting that goes on in this game.

I do wish that when i moved all my units it would automatically end my turn though. It just kinda felt like busy work when your just moving to the next area. Also the looping music did get a bit annoying but i guess that is what the mute button was for.

Developer

thanks, we wanted to give to option to not move all units thats why there is a button but yeah a check if every unit has moved and then go to next turn would actually improve it :D

Good game, soldiers could attack when you move to an enemy

Developer

Thanks, yeah we thought about that too but wanted it to make it like there a different phases, first move every soldier then everyone attacks then enemy move then enemy attack.
