Nice game! I liked the idea of using the dice to change things but it felt rather clunky in design.

Fun game and I like the idea of changing the size of objects in the game through a dice, however the element of randomness meant you sometimes had to wait to roll a 6 or 1 making the gameplay a little tedious. Possibly give the player more control over what the size is beyond random chance. Overall a fun puzzle game and quite unique ideas though.

Was fun! There is a lot of potential. The dice was a good starting point for inspiration, but waiting for statistics to work its magic is tedious. I'd say if you decide to continue with this project, ditch the dice for some more deterministic options--equivalent to allowing a player to throw a 1 or a 6 and so on. But perhaps an added puzzle challenge is to limit the uses of each number.

Cool game! The shrinking/ growing mechanic is definitely a pretty fun mechanic that could have a lot of potential if fleshed out more! The two issues I had with game was:

1. The physics felt a bit off, it seems like the character doesn't accelerate fast enough, which is especially apparent in the second level where you have to do a jump with a low ceiling

2. Since most of the time you want a specific result when throwing the dice,  it was kind of tedious throwing the dice over and over again hoping for a good result. If you continue to develop it maybe you can make it so the longer you hold down before releasing the higher the number will be?

Hello i do not have any useful feedback but the main character is very handsome

Neat little platformer! You could definitely flesh this mechanic out a lot more. Also might just be my machine, but I get some occasional graphical glitches on the main character.

Thx for feedback. I'll see what's the problem you're talking about.

Very cool game, the idea is awesome and original!! You could really expand this .. i found the difficulty curve of the levels a bit too steep but it was fun to discover on which objects the dice had effect

Developer

Very pleasent, thank you. Also I will try to make diffuclulty curve smoother.

I load Linux and Mac build. If someone will play on Mac or Linux, please write whether it works right or not.

Also, your english could use some work.

Developer (2 edits)

Yes, I know it. I tried my best to improve my English knowledge.

Developer

Oh. I just seen who I wrote word 'walk' in contron info, lol. So stupid )

Submitted

Were you the guy I told to find a use for the dice in the discord?

The walk animation seems like a bit much, try switching it with a sway back and forth.

Also some visual indication of what I can and cannot throw my dice at would be nice.

Good job with this anyways.

Developer (3 edits)

If you write it means that Linux version is all right. Okay.

And No, I am not that person. I've never entered any discord servers related to Jam.

Yes you're right animations might seems little bit boring. I will modify it soon, walk anim and jump too.

I thought about it but I always forget and start to do other stuffs. In the next version I will add some visual indication of interactive objects.

Thank you  for the so volume feedback )

Funny game. I like how you cut sprites to make the main character ;)

Developer (2 edits)

Thank you. I've made this character before write single line of code. And even before came up with my game-play )

export for html5 if possible, I can't play on linux

Developer

Hmm... Actually I probably can port this on Linux. I will try it right now.

Developer

I've done it, perhaps. But I havn't a divice to test it. And I did't now any emulator. Anyway i think it will work right likely.

Clever concept, I've never seen this done before. Also I would recommend extending the platforms a bit more. In the first level I fell off the map from the platform that had the door on it and had to repeat it which was a bit tedious due to the dice rng.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the feedback. I took into account it and in the next version I will expand plaforms with doors. And I will reduce chance of such kind of fail.

It very creative! Ive never played anything quite like it. Personally i think that the game relies to much on R and G and not the players skill.

Developer

Thanks for you'r comment. I trying to use R&G to generate different sudden challenges for player but it isn't work for all game. Also I thinking  about more puzzle's elements. So I work on it. Thx for advice.

This is such an awesome idea! I could see this being fully realized into a full platformer game. That was really fun to play.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback. I will add more levels and probably new mechanics soon. Of course, also  will fix bags.

It was fun!

but, I didn't really like the idea of throwing the die over and over to find the correct number.

still, keep up the good work!

Developer

thx for feedback. I am working on this problem. I will try to balance impact of dice on objects and fix weird random.
