How does your piece use the motif?
It's used literally only at the very beginning and then is rapidly torqued through some jazz interpretations throughout

What's the best place to find more of your music?
http://I unified all my platforms into a godaddy site: https://exedexes1.godaddysites.com/

What tools did you use? (DAW, instruments, sample libraries, etc.)
Performed manually on a Roland FA-08 workstation then the midi and wav export were moved to the laptop where I continued mixing using Mixcraft 10.5 Pro Studio mostly just for minor touches.

The synth you used reminded me of 90s rugrats cartoon. A specific sound effect where i could swear they used a similar effect. So to me this sounds like a jazzy spin on rug rats. To me this sounds like one keyboard that allows you to layer sounds/samples over each other, what comes to mind is the jd-800? Im curious what synth you used for this hardware or software?

Also amazing work, takes true skill to rely purely on one instrument. A lost art form.

Roland FA-08 88-key with weighted keys.  The tone library is enhanced with my own choices out of Roland Axial's Integra packs so that there are well over 3500 tones, and you can edit the tones in so many ways you couldn't run out in ten years.  So many menus you can get lost in....

Very cool that you performed it live! Gives it a more freeform feeling. A bit of a double-edged sword though, since it's not super cohesive as a song, feels more like different experiments/ideas

Glad you had a good time listening!

farther back in my Soundcloud history prior to itch you can see more of my general behavior like that:

There were parts that I liked a lot. I do wish it would have had a little more structure, though. Still, good job!

I see it says you performed it manually! That is a really cool way to make a song and I respect it! I have to play something like 20 times before I decide if I like it or not so live recording what I play myself would be difficult for me so props!

I really like the song. I just wish it had a bit less techno to it.
