How did you incorporate the theme and lore?
Guild of space outlaws took over some starsystems few years back. Nowadays the whole group is just called SYSTEM. Coincidentally on one planet in one of these systems was docked secret prototype of new ship. Player is given this ship and tasked to survive and fight the SYSTEM back. Story is told through short comics and ingame intercom messages.

This was such a treat to play you put a lot of love into this and the amount of polish the graphics, gameplay, and story all have in this short time is amazing! As others have said the sound design was satisfying and the background music never became tiring among the explosions and shooting which many jam games usually struggle with. Great job!

Man, the feeling of destroying a ship is just something else, the explosion effect and sound is just so satisfying. Well done! And the upgrade system is great too, especially because you can visually see the bullets changing the more you upgrade them! The dialog was a bit hard to read because you had to focus on not getting hit, but thats just a little nitpick. Good job!

This was a fun bullet hell type of game! Cool upgrade system, nice visuals and audio. Great work!

I streamed it here:

Cool .. thanks for the feedback! And you are right - not much testing was done due to the time :D ... I could have done better job explaining what you are supposed to do (reach 1250 in score in order to win while every 250 score spawns boss)

I had fun playing this one. Found I couldn't put it down till I got full upgrades. Only suggestion is the bullets are a bit hard to see with the stars moving close to the same speed in the back ground  at around the same size and in the same direction...might consider slowing down the stars . Also something to notify you that you got hit by a bullet like a sound effect or make the ship flash white or something would have been nice but not really necessary once you got your ship fully decked out. Great submission!

Nice game. Was a bit too easy tho, would've been nice to have some kind of difficultly ramp up to justify starting again with better upgrades, cause It felt like it would go forever. Also a reload input would've been nice. I liked the ship art, the "tilted" sprite when you are going up and down is a nice touch.

Thank you! I will have to work on my leveldesign & dificulty skills for future games, that's for sure. Good point with the reload input - I absolutely should have added that. I am glad you found the game nice and liked the ship art ^^
