Theme: You are a hacker is trying to break into other peoples systems to be ale to join the ranks of the mysterious group Anonymous .
Lore: You gain new abilities as you complete hacks, but you are reminded that your journey is to continue with the bellowing notification that dings from your monitor.
As for assets, majority of them were made by us, only some sound and all music were not created by us.

I know a lot complained about brute force and how fights were slow, but aside from that the game was really cool as I pokèmon fan I enjoyed it really much!
I like the atmosphere you managed to achieve with the voice acting and scene transition. The turn based combat was also a very fitting idea, its just a bit slow i'd say. But from what i've seen 2 hours for the whole combat system is pretty impressive. Well done!
Thanks! and yeah the combat system was just a coroutine that had 4 conditional statements, so nothing robust at all xD
I really like the aesthetic of the game, the glitchy effect looks really good and the voice acting is also good lol
The gameplay is a little dull but good for the time if you only had 2 hours

The art was great and voice-over was well done by the actor
My only issue is it feels boring facing a enemy for a longer time and AI was not that good!

Great concept and fits the theme well. Nice art style and voice acting was a nice touch. Brute Force didn't work for me however and not sure if it was bugged but I got stuck in a loop fighting Blackpool for each fight with the same cutscene prior. Fights were a bit drawn out and really only using worm seemed to be useful (could have been RNG luck?) so could just spam worm really. ..but I think this has great potential for a full game!
You'd be correct about the Brute Force. For some reason it stopped working when I built the game and I didn't have time to go back and try to fix it lol And the game loops after the second fight (Didn't get a chance to finish, I tried putting a warning in the description about the issues but it doesn't stand out very well lol) Thanks for checking it out though! These game jams are fun to just go in and have no idea what is going to happen. I mean I thought I was going to have a full week to work on this, and practically ended up only having the last day to do anything. But that's the way the cookie crumbles sometimes. :D

The voice over was nice.
The hacker theme fits really well with the turned battle mechanic.
However the battles were slow. And on the second battle I got “brute force” but didn’t do anything when I clicked (I’m on Linux using Wine to run the game, not sure if related).
Good job. This theme/gameplay has potential if you decide to add to it.
Thank you for trying it! And Brute force was bugged on Windows as well. It worked before the build and afterwards it wouldn't fire, so not sure what happened and didn't have time to try to fix it lol And the battles were implemented in the last 2 hours so sadly no real testing occurred, so they were really drawn out and buggy. (I even forgot to cap the defense boost the opponent had so he could keep buffing himself lol)
Good game. I agree with what others have said about pacing. I liked the concept of hacking and if explored could lead to very interesting game mechanics that could really set this apart from the games that inspire this.

I like the hacker theme. The cutscenes were really cool and helped selling the theme and mood of the game. However, the gameplay itself was really, really slow and battles unnecessarily long, doing those attacks with a very long and slow particle animation was mostly tedious and since there were no numbers shown, it was hard to see the impact of boosting defense had. So I ended up mashing the "worm" button until the end. The game had a pacing problem, but the mood and atmosphere was cool.

Thanks for checking it out. And the gameplay I agree with completely. Honestly added that in the last 2 hours. I only put about 10 hours into the project, and most of that was creating assets lol So I did maybe 2 rounds of testing the gameplay. XD The second battle was completely broken but it was 4am by that point and I just needed to publish the game. Oh yeah, I forgot to cap out the amount of times the enemy could defense buff so it made the fight unbearably long.
The intro, transitions and story lines are really cool, they look and feel great, but sadly i find the gameplay just boring. Part of that is probably that the characters have way to much health, it takes you about 10-15 attacks to finish sb, and it’s just doing the same thing over and over again, which i find certainly not fun.
Thanks for checking it out. And Agreed with the gameplay. I added the gameplay in the last 2 hours I worked on the game and it's pretty obvious. I also forgot to cap out the boss's defense boost which made the fights way longer than it should.

Nice Game. The Gameplay Is So Fun, And The Type Of Game You Chose, I Would Have Never Thought About Doing That. The Voice Acting Is Great, And The Story Is Great, Same As The Music. The Art Is Also Great [yes, this game is basically great all together]. But there are a few things that would have made the game a bit better. To start, the transition from the cutscenes to the gameplay could do with a bit of a polish, and the first level could be a bit better. Apart from that, epic game.

It was a fun project. I wish my work schedule wouldn't have been so crazy this past week so I could have actually spent good time on it, but oh well! It was fun working with the team on this and creating something new.
