Just played this- love!!!! the art and colors and characters are wonderful. The banter is fun... reminds me of game boy advance games with the amount of space it gives you.
I did wander alot without any content in the beginning just due to the openness. Unless that is what you want players to do, you may want to make it fairly linear in level design.
Fav parts
-the different animation for the walks between characters!!! they were simple, but making them different let the personalities shine thru!
-music fit super well!
-the bridge art over the darkness.

Great art and music. Good job with the characters' expressive poses and distinct dialogue as well. It all feels very Undertale-esque. I would like to see this opened up a bit more and less reliant on labyrinths to extend the gameplay. Removing hit boxes from followers would make it harder to get stuck. Keep up the good work!
I like the music and art a lot, it was a short but very fun experience! Great worldbuilding! I wish this wasn't just a demo since I spend most of the time in the labyrinth. But I doubt more could have been done in the short jam. Looking forward to any future updates on this! If you make a full version my only suggestion is to not make the crabs repeat dialogues but make each crab say something different.
I agree with Scoot-o-Speed that the 4th wall breaks were very strong. I was expecting those to pay off in a game-mechanic sort of way from how they were being used.
I noticed I could walk around the pier from the sand and tried to get out of the labyrinth that way, turns out I couldn't, haha. I'm sure this is more of a jam limitation, but it'd've been nice if the beach by the pier didn't let you walk down there.
I loved how the left-hand rule (as soon as it was introduced by that crab) got you directly out the way you came in, and if you followed it from the entrance, took you straight through. Great touch. Naturally, I didn't try this until I wandered through the labyrinth aimlessly for a while.
Really enjoyed Gavi's skipping animation, though Gavi's hitbox often got me stuck in dead-ends in the maze.
This was probably also a jam limitation, but the repeated crab dialogues had me doubting my sanity. (I just went back in to confirm there were repeats, I know at least the "Day 430: running out of supplies and missing my family" and the left-hand rule repeats). I was expecting to be able to use what crabs said to me as a metric for if I'd talked to a crab before, with the meta-expectation that previous visitors wouldn't speak to crabs word-for-word even if they talked to the same ones a couple of times.
Very cute! I don't trust Owen at all, Gavi seemed trustworthy though!
The music in this game is amazing! The art and music fit so well together and give it a unique feel! I'm just sitting on the main menu listening to it while typing this.
It took me a while to realize the docks were the labyrinth. I may have missed a line saying that that's what it is. The fourth wall breaks felt a little forced to me. Probably because the demo ended fairly soon, there wasn't a pay off or reason for them to be there.
The crab dialogue is a cool idea! I could see some minimal puzzles being made with them. The skipping animation for the blonde character was really charming!
Good job to everyone who worked on this! It really is a cool result!

Really cute character and game ! I love the color scheme you choose. Eventought I didn't really see the unreliable narrator, I wanted to know more about the story and the univers.
Aww, what a shame it ended so soon!
The character designs and level art was looking very charming, and the characters quirky and funny. There's even some sweet animations in!
The story seems promising, even if it's just hints at how it could go so far. This could turn out being a pretty nice story game, if you do plan on continuing it.
Good job nonetheless!
Super cute game! Love the aesthetics along with the music.
This was fun! I adored the art and the colour scheme. I think my favourite part was the crabs, they were hilarious. Loved the fourth wall-breaking character too; they were really cute.
