Good effort here! I see what you were trying to do in making a challenging platformer, and I think you have a good prototype. Keep going! Work on improving the player physics so you don't get stuck on the walls. Maybe offer a variable height jump and make the player stick to moving platforms (that's where I ultimately got frustrated and quit).

You know what you want to see in a game like this, so keep learning, keep working at it, and try to make one fix or add one feature at a time. This is a good first step!

I liked the concept. I can see a really fun platformer here! But it feels like you ran out of time. Congrats anyway!

Very poorly put together product, Tried my best to find anything at all that i enjoyed but couldn't, still pushed myself to play trough it. Art was inconsistent, 32 bit pixel art here, 16 bit there, vector art zeds etc. you might want to keep an eye out for art consistency in the future. Character controller felt clunky. Second part of the text in main menu was unreadable:

Lack of sound added to frustration. There was no serviceable narrative and after i finished first level and gone back to main menu to launch level 2 - it launched and when i tried to move character froze.

Awesome reaction to negative feedback, dude seems like a total Jack TBH, don't even worry about him. Even if his criticisms are legit, he wasn't polite or very helpful at all. This is a pretty awesome effort for a first Jam, going for a platformer style game is a classic first attempt.

Biggest issue I had was the game froze up when I started level 2. Other than that I think you'll get the hang of controls and art direction as you continue your game-dev journey.  A Subjective suggestion to improve user experience other than refining controls would be to zoom the camera out a little more so its easier to navigate the environment.
