  • Good game! This was a fun platformer to play. Soundeffects and music would be a nice touch.

Selected Challenges!
Everything...since adding assets even to programming, We hadn´t ever created a videogame, this is our first try, even tho we liked the final result of it.

P.S. We don't know why Unity made changes in the scene after building the project that makes the game confusing. The original idea was that the player can choose the level in which to start by moving to any edge from the scene and then press "E" to play.
It was supposed that the player would also be able to choose the character's skin, but we couldn't achieved it correctly for now. Enen tho we decided to keep it on the scene because we will keep trying until we get it correctly.

We will thank any feedback comments :] thank you!

Cool game! Even though the art was installed from a unity package, it was still a fun game nonetheless.  Good work! Keep it up! (-:

Thank you for your comment! Yeah it's, we're still learning how to create our own assets.

The game feels good... If only I was able to play it correctly! The screen is cut along the border and I can't see anything. It's unplayable unfortunately :(

Thank you for your comment! Tbh we don't know why Unity made changes in the scene after building the project. The original canvas scale of the game was conserved, but the camera scale was cut off. The texts were also moved from their original place after building the project and it made the game confusing for the users. It was supposed that the menu, level 1 and level 2 would completely fit the screen and that there shouldn't be any problem :(

It's a pity I couldn't get to experience it. Guess this is yet another thing to learn for the next time! :D

This was a really good game with nice art! I wasn't too sure what the objective of the game was though? I think you could also resize the screen because it cuts off a bit at the bottom.

About the objective of the game, it was only to collect all the fruits and arrive to the trophy in order to arrive the next level :]

Wow, this is a great start to a platformer game. I like how the player can go around the room to enter different levels and even change character.  It was rewarding to be able to get past the enemy in level one and get the cherry in level two.  Keep up the great work.  Here are a few things I noticed during my gameplay that you might already know about, but I wanted to share in case you didn't and would like to address them:  For me when I tried to change characters it didn't seem to change after I used my mouse to hover over and click another character. Also,  I ended up getting stuck between some blocks and landed on level two.

Note: I played using the link that you provided that goes to play.unity.com - since the build uploaded to itch doesn't seem to work correctly.

Yeah, you're right, we planned that the user could be able to change the skin's character, but we weren't succesful at it, even tho we leaved it on the scene because we will keep trying later in order to achieve it. We will also check that observation of getting stuck in some blocks and arriving to other levels.

I was able to collect the cherry! But I have the same issues as others. The scaling is off.  Honestly that is one of the more finicky things to deal with imo. Fix could be as simple as changing the values on the games page or needing to change build and canvas settings in Unity.

This is a very solid project to build off of so keep at it!

The art is great! The only problem is that the player can continue off screen without the camera follwing it.

I think there is something wrong with the build you uploaded, I can't really do much beside jumping around a really really small square. Good job nonetheless!

Thank you for your comment! Sorry if it wasn't clear enough, we don't know why Unity made changes in the scene after building the project, but you could navigate to other levels if you go to the edges of the scene and then click "E" standing over any edge :] (It was also supposed you could also choose your skin in the middle platform, but we couldn't achieve it correctly).

Top right edge - level 4,                            Top left edge - level 5,                              Bottom right edge - level 2,                          Bottom left edge - level 3

Nothing is clear what needs to be done. Most likely, this is just a primitive scene with the movement of the character.
