Great job submitting a game! I had a lot of fun. At first I felt like the game didn't give me enough direction but I was surprised at how natural it felt to discover boss fights and upgrades which led to using the mini-map and exploring the entire island. All that said I still think I would appreciate a little more direction and context at the beginning.

I loved the small puzzles scattered around, especially the skull sokoban part as well as having to get more upgrades to access other areas. I couldn't understand the benefit of expanding the HUD. It was awesome having to return to the starter area for the last boss. Big props for making a unique boss design for each one. I appreciated that at death I still had my upgrades and could use them to return where I was more efficiently. Thanks for participating!

I think an adventure game really needs context. Otherwise it's hard to tell what to do.

Neat little game! I included it in my Nokia 3310 Jam 4 compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :)

Niec Zelda-like! Really impressive scale , some UI improvements could be made to make things a bit more obvious :)

Wow, it’s like a whole Zelda for the Nokia 3310, huh? With a hookshot too, can’t go wrong there.

The level scale is quite impressive for the time limitation, but it maybe felt a bit too open – the map was a great touch but I was mostly just aimlessly picking up things and I couldn’t really tell what the pickups were doing?

Presentation was also a bit simple – you don’t really feel things like taking damage, and I think an adventure game really wants to have a good overworld tune.

Such a comprehensive entry! Big map for exploration, gradual upgrades, fights with enemies and bosses, obstacles to overcome - all polished and balanced. Well done!
