Cool little game! Took me a while to figure out how to score points. At the beginning I was finishing the game, but with almost 0 points. After I figured it out I got 450 points. Love the animations. Good work!
Great job! I really like the move/walking animation, the penguin walks like they mean business. Also the music is very catchy and the controls are responsive.
Fun little game - definitely captured the NES nostalgia! Love the sprites and animations - particularly the little flap the penguin does while jumping. Good work

I found the game very creative and matching the theme of the jam. the only points are the speed at which enemies appear. Maybe if the game was horizontal the player would have more reaction time.
I would definetely make in that perspective if I had to do it again. But I drew a lot of stuff already before seeing that the perspective is a bit small.

What a nice little game!
The graphics are quite nice with a really cool faux-3D effect.
And the gameplay is simple but fun. I like that you can't control your penguin midair, that's a nice touch.
If I have one critique it's that the music get's a bit annyoing quite quickly, but you can always just mute your computer so that's not too much of a problem.
All in all, good job!
